WEEK 3:
The B ASSASSINS defeated the ROXB WRANGLERS(162.9 - 121.4)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Black Assassins had already wrapped up the “W” against the Roxborough Wranglers on Sunday with the BEARS I their back pocket on Monday. The Assassins were led by Evans, Locket and the BEARS as they took down the Wranglers “the way the Track n' Turf used to take down Gibson's bar in hoops – Coach Toast”. The Wranglers were led by Ryan and Cook in the loss. The Wranglers left some points on the bench but even their best lineup would have been just a bit short. Pre-Game Hype: The Roxborough Wranglers will try to keep their undefeated record against the Black Assassins. The Predictions/History

WEEK 3:
The CROATANS defeated the GOOD FELLAS(137.3 - 134.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The closest game of the week was between the Croatans and the Good Fellas. The Croatans faired better in this close shave than they did in their Week 1 version. The Croatans were led by Wentz, Kamara and Thielen as they notched their first SWFFL “W”. The Fellas were led by Prescott and Schuster in the loss. AS usual in a game this tight there is more than one option on the loser’s bench that would have made the difference. Pre-Game Hype: The Croatans are still in sear of their first SWFFL “W” as they face the Good Fellas in Week 3. The Predictions/History

WEEK 3:
The BODY SHOP defeated the DREAM TEAM(168.9 - 155.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Body Shop scored its first helmet and ascended to the tops of the standings by stepping on the backs of the Dream Team. There was no Monday night Madness in this game, but I think Coach Casey was more than a little worried with the Sunday night game looking at overtime and the Dream team still field ing all those RAMS and the Sunday day leas of 50+ points was down to less than 15 points (a more 60 yard field goal for Greg the Leg). OT never happened and the Shop survived due in large part due to Mahomes, Allen and Waller. The Dream Team was led by Goff, McCaffrey, Agholor and Engram in the loss. 3rd highest score of the week, but still a loss (I hate when that happens). Pre-Game Hype: The Dream Team and Body Shop will meet in a contest between 1-1 teams coming off a loss. The Predictions/History

WEEK 3:
The M. TAKERS defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(136.7 - 131.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Money Takers and the Fightin’ Irish. The Takers carried a 14.4 point lead into Monday night against the Irish and Montgomery on Monday night. Montgomery came up 4.8 points (one short TD) short of the goals. There were a couple of short TD passes too and Montgomery was the featured back, so this could not have been a comfortable night for Coach Jones. The Takers interestingly bench Mayfield in place of Murray a move that surprised me, bit proved to be a difference maker. Nice move Coach Jones. Murray and Kupp led the Takers. Brady and Cooper led the Irish in the loss, who almost started a perfect lineup. Pre-Game Hype: The Fightin’ Irish will meet the Money Takers in another contest between 1-1 teams. WEEK 3:
The JELLY BEANS defeated the BLACK & BLUE(114.6 - 83.8)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Jelly Beans notched their initial “W” of the 2019 campaign against the Black & Blue Attack. The Beans were led by Julio and Sterling in the victory. Watson led the Attack in what seems to be an early “helmet hangover” trend as the helmet teams seem to underperform dramatically the next week (beware Coach Casey). The Attack had little help on the bench. Pre-Game Hype: The Black & Blue Attack will meet the Jelly Beans in a battle of teams at the top and the bottom of the standings. The Predictions/History
