WEEK 8:
The BLACK & BLUE defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(150.3 - 145.3)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
In the closest game of the week the Black & Blue Attack defeated the Fightin’ Irish due in large part to the efforts of Danny Dimes and Chase. Interestign in a week with 6 teams off, the Attack could not find a spot in their lineup for their 2nd round pick (apparently the Flacco effect took a couple of weeks to pick in for Chase Brown). The Irish were led by Flacco (speak of the devil) and Kraft on National tight end day (apparently Ferguson did not get the memo). The Irish had no help on the bench, but it appeared CBS almost gifted them win as Minday’s score came back as a tie. CBS fixed their error and the Attack prevailed (Attack enjoyed being in the right side of a scoring correction). Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 8:
The JELLY BEANS defeated the M. TAKERS(191.3 - 124.4)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Jelly Beans, Ertz and an 86.8-point lead easily held off the Money Takers and Rice on Monday night. Despite a Jerry like performance by Rashee, the Beans were only interested in how much they would win their second helmet of he year. The Beans were led by Barkley (welcome to 2025), Taylor (MVP), McConkey and McLaughlin (not the first-round pick) as they won their 4th game in a row. The Takers were led by Love and Rice in the loss. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 8:
The B ASSASSINS defeated the GOOD FELLAS(135.0 - 99.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Black Assassins had the victory in hand against the first place Good Fellas and they stile had Butker waiting in the wings in Monday night. The Assassins were led by Hurts and Hall (welcome to 2025) as they knocked the Fellas out of the top spot. The Fellas were led by Allen and Achane in the loss. BYE-mageddon robbed them of Gibbs and JSN, as such there wea little help on the bench as well and the normally high scoring squad failed to reach triple digits. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 8:
The DREAM TEAM defeated the BODY SHOP(141.1 - 124.8)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Dream Tean and defending champion Body Shop. The Dream Team, Mahomes and Kelce overcame a 36.5-point lead by the Shop on Monday night. It was not a fast comeback as the CHIEFS offense sputtered for most of the first half. Near the end of the 3rd quarter the CHIEF double0bubbke struck paydirt and finally put the Sop out of their misery with their 4th loss in a row. The victory put the Dream Team in the top spot (hoping the stay in the penthouse is a lot longer than that cup of coffee we had in first place a couple of weeks ago). The Dream Team was led by the aforementioned Mahomes and Kelce with a little Sunday help from Shakir and Pittman. The Shop was led by their own double-bubble (I still refuse to use the more widely accepted term of “stack”) of Nix and Franklin. The Shop could have maximized their score by starting Blue over Mason (who was immediately show the locker room exit door by the Shop) and Pitts over Doubs. Would have been a better score but not enough to snap their losing streak. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 8:
The CROATANS defeated the ROXB WRANGLERS(122.4 - 84.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Pre-Game Hype: The Croatans, CHIEFS and a 42.6-point lead proved to be too much for Roxborough Wranglers and Worthy on Monday night. The Croatans were led by Cook as they snapped their 2 game losing streak. The Wranglers failed to field a 20-point starter and they did not clear 90 points. Despite this a start of Tua and Wilson over Dak and Emeka (yeah - that was going to happen) would have kept the Wranglers in the money. The Roxborough Wranglers will try to keep that newly minted money spot by defeating the Croatans.The Predictions/History
