WEEK 3:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the CROATANS(167.2 - 96.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Good Fellas had already beaten the Croatans on Sunday night and they still had Etienne and McPherson in their back pocket on Monday night. The Fellas were led by Dak, Kyren, Malik, Dallas and Chris (how did that first name get in there) as they notched their first helmet of the year. The Croatans were led by Action Jackson and Montgomery as they are still searching for that first win of the season. The Croatans had some better options on the bench, but even their roster total would have come up short. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 3:
The BLACK & BLUE defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(88.4 - 80.3)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Black & Blue Attack, Brian Robnison and a 7.1 point lead held off the Fightin’ Irish and Geseki on Monday night. This was a close game, but the game of the week, simply cannot be a game where the two teams combined barely outscored the helmet team of the week. In such a low scoring game, 20-point scorers were hard to find as well. Jefferson managed to clear the barrier for the attack, but just barely. The Attack bench was not much better. The Irish definitely had some options on the bench that would have kept them undefeated (ad at the top of the standings) as they managed to beat last weeks “record” low coaching efficiency. WEEK 3:
The BODY SHOP defeated the M. TAKERS(103.9 - 87.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Body Shop was led by Mahomes, Johnson and that “great” 5th round pick Aubrey as they defeated the Money Takers. The Takers failed to field a 20-point starter. They did have a couple on the bench that would have more than made a difference. As always, of course, hindsight is 20-20. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 3:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the B ASSASSINS(138.3 - 133.5)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Roxborough Wranglers and the Black Assassins. The Wranglers, Chase and Cook overcame a 13.6 point lead by the Assassin and Allen on Monday night. Allen put up a monster first half and it truly looked like the Assassins would leave the game with the win. But Allen slowed it down a bit in the second half and even left the game early as the BILLS destroyed the JAGUARS. Sometime just north of 10:30 last night Chase notched his second 9 point TD and put the Wrangler in the win column. The Wranglers were led by Fields, Chase and Rice (is he related to Jerry – because he sure puts up points like Jerry used to) as they joined the party at 2-1. The Assassins were led by Allen and Charbonet. Despite the loss, The Assassins held on to the top spot in the standings Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 3:
The JELLY BEANS defeated the DREAM TEAM(156.8 - 122.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In a family affair, the Jelly Beans and Burrow easily overcame a 1.3 point lead by the Dream Team on Monday night. Short of Burrow breaking his leg in the pre-game warmups, the Dream Team had no chance. The Beans were led by a ground and pound attack in Sunday with Barkley and Henry and then Burrow (who survived pre-game warmups) tossed in a 30+ point performance on Monday night. The Dream Team were led by Taylor and the sun god in the loss. Their best lineup would have failed as well. Not only did the Beans beat my team, but in the last 2 minutes Burrow knocked the Dream Team out of first place in scoring (by 2 tenths of a point). So I was robbed of my chance to complain about being below .500 and being the highest scoring team. The Beas are 1-2 with the highest scoring team. It is interesting that the top 2 teams in scoring are 1-2. Pre-Game Hype:
