WEEK 12:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the BLACK & BLUE(180.7 - 110.6)
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Good Fellas completed the season sweep of the Black & Blue Attack. They kept the penthouse spot in the standings and won their 3rd helmet in a row (5th overall). That is impressive. The Fellas were led by J-S-N and an MVP performance by Gibbs. These 3 have been so good all year and this week they even glossed over a dud by Josh Allen. The Attack was led by Pickens in the loss and they did not have a whole lot of help on the bench. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 12:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the M. TAKERS(156.8 - 121.7)
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Roxborough Wranglers and a 46.5-point lead were too much for the Money Takers and Dowdle on Monday night. The Wranglers were led by Dak, Wilson, Adams and AJ Brown. The Takers were led by Rice and Reichard in the loss. The Wranglers had some better options on the bench but their best lineup would have come up short. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 12:
The DREAM TEAM defeated the JELLY BEANS(145.5 - 98.7)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Dream Team had already wrapped up the win against the Jelly Beans and they still had Run CMC and Kittle in their back pocket on Monday night. The Dream Team avenged their early season loss to the Beans due largely to the efforts of Run CMC and the Sun God. The Beans were led by Goff in the loss. The Beans had some upgrades in their bench but none that would have kept their losing streak to hit 4 games. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 12:
The BODY SHOP defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(113.0 - 102.8)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the defending champion Body Shop and the Fightin’ Irish. The Shop and a 21.7-point lead outlasted the Irish and T-Mac in Monday night. The Shop completed the season sweep (so not think I will use that phrase often) of the Irish due to nice games by Lawrence(can I call him Sunshine – youngsters will probably not get the reference) and Jeanty. The Irish were led by Stafford and Henry in the loss. T-Mac probably threw a scare into the Shop HQ with a long TD catch in the 3rd quarter, which put the Shop lead in jeopardy, another 9-pointer would have ended the game (actually any T-Mac TD might have done the trick). If the Irish had served up their best lineup (Hunt or Walker), the Shop would not have snapped their losing streak at 7 games. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 12:
The B ASSASSINS defeated the CROATANS(133.9 - 104.4)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The Black Assassins and a 58.6-point lead held off the Croatans, Purdy and Jennings on Monday night. The Assassins were led by Hurts, Wilson and Bates as they completed the season sweep of their former partner and won their 5th game in a row. The Croatans were led by Cook in the loss and had an easy path to the revenge victory by starting Robinson who was a last hour scratch (a large birdie with a COWBOYS cap told me). Starting Jennings was fine but, Jame should have been the player benched. Pre-Game Hype:
