The Jelly Beans already wrapped up the victory against the Good Fellas in Sunday and still had White in their back pocket on Monday night. The Beans climbed above the money line primarily due to the efforts of an MVP performance by Burrow and a couple of nice performances by Barkley and King Henry. The Fellas failed to field a 20-point starter. They left nice performances by Geno and Quentin on the bench, but they would not have been enough to change the results in this battle of cousins and uncles. Pre-Game Hype:

The Fightin’ Irish, Kelce and a 30-point lead held off the Black Assassins, Butker and the CHIEFS on Minday night. In fact, Kelce looked like the Kelce of old and put up big numbers despite not making it into the endzone. Hurts and Sutton also helped the Irish pull into a tie for first place. The Assassins failed to field a 20-point starter as they dropped out of the money. The Assassins also left some help on the bench but not enough to keep them above that money line. One wonders if Trader Toast may have disturbed that delicate locker room balance. I know another team that is definitely wondering the same thing. Pre-Game Hype:

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Body Shop and the Dream Team. The Shop carried a small lead into Sunday night. Taylor overcame the Shop lead and helped them hold on to the lead for most of Sunday night. On the final completed pass by Flacco, Downs pulled down a 14-yard catch and put the Shop on top and then it was over. The hop was led by Cousins, Robinson and Mooney in the 0.7-point victory. The Dream Team was led by Allen, Kamara and Kupp in the loss (literally a blocked extra point away from victory). The Croatans defeated the Money Takers in a battle for the basement. The Croatans were led by Achane and the RAVEN double-bubble. The Takers were led by ROY candidate Daniels and Davante Adams (who is most definitely no longer a rookie). There were some bullets left in the bench by the Takers, but not nearly enough to flip the script this week. Pre-Game Hype:

I suppose that the contest between the Black & Blue Attack and the Roxborough Wranglers should have garnered “Game of the Week” honors. It had Monday night madness, high scoring game and involved the current first place team, but then the Dream Team loses by less than point you can book it that game will be Gamo of the Week. The Attack, Mayfield and Hunt easily overcame a 16.5-point lead by the Wranglers on Monday night. The Attack was led by Mayfield, Hubbard, Jefferson and JSN (finally a breakout game) as they notched their 2nd helmet of the year. The Wranglers were led by Brown, Dobbins and Wilson in the loss that dropped them in to a 3-way tie for first. There were enough points in the Wrangler bench to make a difference, but it would have taken some really gutsy (and questionable) calls to keep the Wranglers alone in first place. Pre-Game Hype:
