WEEK 8:
The B ASSASSINS defeated the BLACK & BLUE(190.6 - 156.5)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Black Assassins defeated the Black & Blue Attack in the first of 2 Black bowls this year. The Assassin were led to their 3rd helmet of the year by Tua, Etienne, Run CMC and an MVP performance by CeeDee. The Attack put up a score that would get them a “W” most weeks largely due to the efforts of the EAGLE double bubble and Kittle. The Attack had some better options on the bench but none that would have turned that “L” into a “W”. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 8:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(128.0 - 120.3)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The defending champion Good Fellas and a 10.6-point lead inexplicably easily held off the Fightin’ Irish and Jakobi Meyers on Monday Night. A 10.6-point lead probably should not hold up against a decent WR, but I guess anything is possible (more about this later). The Fellas were led by Allen in their 3rd “W” of the year. The Irish were led by the Cheeetah, DeVonta and Hockenson in the loss that dropped them out of the Money. A Pittman start over Pollard or Myers would have kept the Irish in a tie for first. WEEK 8:
The M. TAKERS defeated the JELLY BEANS(147.6 - 124.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Money Takers and a 38.5-point lead easily held off the Jelly Beans and Jacobs on Monday night. The Talers were led by Hall, Addison and Waddle as they survived possibly the worst game of Mahomes career. The Beans were led by Herbert in the loss. The Beans best lineup would have won the game, but that would have required the benching of Allen, Evans and Kupp for Willaims, Lockett and Njoku. Had the Beans did that, I would have seriously wondered if they tapped in to some inside info from Halloween spirits. But no ghost showed up to save the Beans this week, maybe next week. WEEK 8:
The CROATANS defeated the DREAM TEAM(121.4 - 115.5)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Croatans and the Dream Team. The Croatans carried an 8.1-point lead into Monday night against the Dream Team and Davante Adams. Davante Adams against an 8.1-point lead, the odds certainly looked like they favored the former first place Dream Team. In fact it looked grate and then they played the Monday night game. In the first half the Adams was the only WR who even got a target and Jimmy G. threw and INT on that target. The Raiders started the 2nd half getting Adams his first catch on the first play of the half. Dream Team hopes soared. However, that would be the last catch for Adams. Now Adams dropped one and that was his fault. Of course, Jimmy G missed him at least twice in wide open bombs that would have almost certainly wound up in the end zone. So, an all-world WR cannot overcome a single digit lead on Monday night. Indeed, it seems anything is possible. The Croatans were led by the Stache and Ekeler. The Dream Team was led by Kmara and Chase as they fell out of first place. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 8:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the BODY SHOP(165.7 - 132.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Roxborough Wranglers, Gibbs, the Sun God and a 2.6-point lead handily held off the Body Shop and rookie sensation LaPorta on Monday night. The Wranglers were led by Howell (must the EAGLES make every QB look like Joe Montana) and Gibbs as they climbed into first place all by themselves. The Shop (regardless of Insider Berry TMR info) dropped their 7th game in a row despite a very nice game by Dak. The Shop’s best lineup would have included Aubrey over Tucker would have still come up short. Pre-Game Hype:
