NORM'S LINES FORMAT (my estimates) - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

Week 15 still finds the Good Fellas magic number down to 1 (actually, down to 0 if you consider their lead in total points). Technically all but 1 team still has a valid chance at the Money (within 2 games of a money spot), however with only 3 weeks left, I suspect we will be seeing more Zs and perhaps more Ys in the standings in the next week (maybe even an x). On a happy note, A SWFFL owner has won the Casey Survivor pool and another finished third. On a bad note, the DREAM team has been eliminated. But then again, he EAGLES won. But Hurts was injured. Then again Dallas lost, but they still managed to clinch a playoff spot. It is going be a bipolar version of the Notes. Since this is my last set of notes, before Christmas, I’s like to wish a Merry Christmas to all SWFFL owners.

The old web (http://swffl.50megs.com) has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive. Send any ideas to me and I will see what I can do.

Key Match-ups to watch this Week

The Roxborough Wranglers will try to sweep the Dream Team (maybe win by more 0.3 points). The Good Fellas will try to cross the finish line by avenging their early season loss to the Fightin’ Irish. The Croatans will try to keep very slim championship hopes alive by splitting with former partner Black Assassins. The Jelly Beans will be looking for more than a split with the Money Takers this week. The defending champion Black & Blue Attack will try to stay in the money hunt by sweeping the Body Shop.

Norm (my estimates) was 3 of 5 last week making him 22 of 65 (34%) for the season. He gains top billing. Spock was 1 of 5 last week making him 22 of 65 (51%) for the season. Spocks’s Locks appear below:

RW  -4 DT (250)     JB -10 MT (258)
GF -18 FI (252)     BS -1 BB (253)
C  -1 BA (257)

Three games were decided on Sunday, only two had some Monday Night Madness (especially one).

The Jelly Beans kept their championship hopes live, wrapped up their 3rd helmet in a row and salvaged a season split with the Good Fellas. The Beans were led by Tua, Run CMC and A.J. in the victory what probably should have been GOW just because of the high scoring and the 1st-2nd place battle. The Fellas were led by Dak and the Cheetah as their 7 game winning streak came to an end. Even their best lineup, would not have locked up the title this week.

The Croatans avenged their early season loss to the Dream Team. The Croatans were led by Hurts, Murray and Kelce. The Dream Team was led by Carr and Cook in the loss. OK – if that last Charger drive had been an Allen Drive instead of a Williams drive or if the game went into OT (bonus points for Carr, Adams, Allen) may have saved the Dream team from being eliminated. Their best lineup would not have saved them form such a bitter fate.

In a rather tight battle, the Body Shop avenged their early season loss to the Black Assassins. The Shop was led by Allen and Jones as they kept their slim money hopes alive. The Assassins were led by the re-emergence of Kittle. In a game decided by less than 5 points, there is usually an option or 2 the losing bench that would have changed the outcome. I give Lawrence and/or Hill.

The Fightin’ Irish avenged their early season loss to the def ending champion Black & Blue Attack as Jones and a 43-point lead were too much for the Attack and Lazard on Monday night. The Irish was led by Cousins, Heny and Jons as they stayed within striking distance of a money spot. The Attack failed to field a 20-point starter. The Attack had some extra bullets on the bench, but the Irish outscored the entire Attack Roser.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Money Takers and the Roxborough Wranglers. The Takers and a 13.2-point lead barely held off the Wranglers and Watson on Monday night. In fact with less than 3 minutes in the clock Watson would have probably won the game for the Wranglers if he had bothered to look back at Rodgers while running his route. The pass whizzed by his back and fell incomplete. He also dropped a sure bomb for a TD earlier. With those misses, so went the Wranglers chances for some Monday night magic. The Takers were led by Burrow and Godwin as they held on to that last money spot. Jeudy or Johnson could have flipped the script for the Wranglers.
