WEEK 7:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the DREAM TEAM(100.7 - 100.4)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Roxborough Wranglers and the Dream Team. The Wranglers and a 10.1-point lead barely (and I mean barely) held off the Dream Team and Parker on Monday night. The Wranglers were led by Mahomes in the victory. The Dream Team was led Hopkins (glad to have him back) in the heart-braking 0.3-point loss. Despite the very close game, the Dream Team did not have any better options in the bench. That being said, I cannot say there were no mistakes made. Faced with needing a spot in the roster a couple weeks ago, the Dream Team cut the BROWN (5) and kept the STEELERS (0). Faced with starting a gimpy, questionable Keenan Allen, the Dream Team looked for a better option. They saw nothing on their bench and the waiver-wire decision was between Zay Jones (10.8) and Parker (9.8) – and yes that 1 point would have made a difference. Parker may not have scored anything without Zappe coming in. Mistakes were made, and there no room for error in the Dream Team front office. BTW, Mahomes throwing 9-point touchdown with a 14 point lead and 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter, really. End rant. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 7:
The FIGHTIN' IRISH defeated the GOOD FELLAS(130.2 - 93.3)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Fightin’ Irish and 48.1-point lead held off the Good Fellas and Montgomery on Monday night. The Irish was led by Jimmy G. and Jones as they climbed out of the basement. The Fellas (who have previously been lighting up the scoreboard like it was a pinball game) did not manage to clear triple digits. Thye failed to field a 20-point scorer. Was it they BYE (Cupp was off) but it was just an off week where Action Jackson failed to reach double digits. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 7:
The B ASSASSINS defeated the CROATANS(180.9 - 100.7)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Black Assassins and a 91.6-point lead easily held off the Croatans and Meyers on Monday night. The Assassins were led by Ekeler, Walker and Kittle (wow, is he back?) in their 4th W in a row. The Croatans were led by Williams in the loss and even their whole roster would have fell to the Assassins. Now, is that any way to treat a former partner. The Black teams are on fire. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 7:
The M. TAKERS defeated the JELLY BEANS(145.9 - 112.3)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Money Takers and 35.6-point lead were a bit too much for the Jelly Beans and Nick Folk on Monday night. The Takers were led by an MVP performance by Burrow and a very big run by Breece before he tore up his ACL and ended his Rookie of the Year run. The Beans were led by Jacobs (he is in a roll) and Scary Terry in the loss. The Beans had a couple of better options on the bench, but none that would have made a difference. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 7:
The BLACK & BLUE defeated the BODY SHOP(136.4 - 91.0)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The defending champion Black & Blue Attack had already wrapped up the “W” against the Body Shop on Sunday and they still had Stevenson and the PATRIOTS in their back pockets. The Attack was led by Hebert and Chase as they notched their 3rd W in a row and climbed above the Money line. The Shop was led by Heinicke in their 5th loss in a row. In just a month these 2 teams have sort of switched positions in the standings. They are definitely 2 teams traveling in different directions. Pre-Game Hype:
