WEEK 3:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the B ASSASSINS(98.8 - 72.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Roxborough Wranglers climbed above the Money line by defeating the Black Assassins. The Wranglers in a weird game, failed to field a 20-point scorer. Neither do the Assassins. In fact, neither team cleared triple digits. The Assassins had little help on the bench as their best score would have lost as well. This week that 6 player trade seems to be lopsided in the Takers favor. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 3:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the CROATANS(153.7 - 118.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Good Fellas had already secured the victory against the Croatans on Sunday but still had Barkley in their Back pocket on Monday night. The Fellas were led by a second straight MVP performance by Jackson and other stellar performances by Saquon, Copper and DeVonta to first place and their 2nd in a row Helmet. The Croatans received a nice performance by Hurts and had little help on the bench. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 3:
The JELLY BEANS defeated the BLACK & BLUE(125.7 - 122.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Jelly Beans and Lamb barely overcame a 19.9-point lead on Monday night against the defending champion Black & Blue Attack. The Beans were eld by Brown and Lamb as the climbed above .500. The Attack were led by Andrews (who seem to have stolen the TE crown form Kelce). As in most games decide by less than 3 points, there were multiple Attack starters that would have made a difference. WEEK 3:
The FIGHTIN' IRISH defeated the DREAM TEAM(107.7 - 96.1)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Fightin’ Irish scored their first “W” of the year against the Dream Team. The Irish were led by Rodgers and Henry in that initial victory. The Dream Team filed to field a 20-point starter and also failed to clear triple digits. Let’s look at one player here. Matt Stafford cost the Dream Team. He cost 2 out of 3 teams survival in the Survivor pool. He also cost me in the Joe Gum league. It was the first game Stafford in a RAMS uniform that he did not throw a TD. In fact, Cooper Kupp scored a TD, but Stafford did not. Oh yeah, as suggested above, a Carr start over Stafford would have kept the Dream Team above .500. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 3:
The M. TAKERS defeated the BODY SHOP(136.5 - 136.2)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Money Takers and the Body Shop. The Takers held a 7.3-point lead against the Shop and the COWBOYS. The Shop went into the last 2 drives down a mere 2.3 points. They need a sack and a turnover. One sack was wiped about by a penalty. Another seemed like it was a sack, but the refs ruled Daniel Jones had instead intentionally grounded the ball. Jones was sacked multiple times but also eluded many more. In the end he supplied the interception that left the Shop 0.3 points down. Indeed, more than one Daniel Jones may have been involved in this Taker win. Besides the heavenly help and the lack of an overnight stat correction, the Takers were led by Burrow and Robinson and as they notched their first “W”. The Shop was led Allen and Coradelle (welcome back to relevance). There were bench points that would have kept the Shop in first place. Between Survivor, the trade and the Monday results, there seemed to be a lot of barriers (seen and unseen) to Coach Casey this week. Better luck next week. Pre-Game Hype:
