WEEK 7:
The CROATANS defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(128.0 - 110.5)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Croatans climbed a little closer to the Money line by defeating the Fightin’ Irish. The Croatans were led by Evans and Uzomah and prevailed despite a horrible performance by Darnold. The PANTHERS have stated the Darnold is their starter, I have a feeling the Croatans will not be making such a statement. The Irish were led by Ryan in the loss. Looks like they took a swing for the fences with People-Jones and struck out. More about that later. A Herbert start (not the QB_) would have had the Irish close, but not enough to do the trick. WEEK 7:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the B ASSASSINS(157.7 - 130.7)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Roxborough Wranglers solidified their money spot and notched their first helmet of the year as they grabbed the “W” against the defending champion Black Assassins. The Wranglers were led by TB12, D’Ernest, Cooper and Scary Terry in the victory. The Assassins were led by Murray and Swift in the loss. The Assassins best lineup would have come up short as well. I think that may be a recurring theme on BYEMEGEDDON week. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 7:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the BODY SHOP(137.3 - 118.4)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Good Fellas, Lockett and a 21.9 point lead were too much for the Body Shop and Callaway on a rainy Monday night in Seattle. The Fellas were led by Action Jackson, Harris and Gesicki (I remember him) as they kept hold of that last Money spot. The Shop was led by Stafford, Brown and Pitts as they moved a little closer to the Basement. Again, even the Shop best lineup would not have kept the Shop traveling up. Pre-Game Hype:

WEEK 7:
The BLACK & BLUE defeated the DREAM TEAM(138.7 - 116.5)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Black & Blue Attack and the Dream Team. OK – this was one of the closer games with a sniff of Monday night madness and involved the first-place team. If that is not good enough call it Commissioner’s privilege. The Attack carried a 46.4 point lead into Monday night against the Dream Team, Kamara and Everett. Kmara but up some decent numbers, Everett not so much. The Attack was led by Chase and Godwin as they climbed to 7-0. The Dream Team was led by Rodgers and Kamara in their second loss in a row. The Dream Team also took a swing for the fences on the waiver wire with D-Jax. He struck out. The Dream Team best lineup also would have been short of them continuing their odd-week winning streak. WEEK 7:
The M. TAKERS defeated the JELLY BEANS(131.3 - 114.6)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Money Takers and a 40.2 point lead was too much for the Jelly Beans and Metcalf, although that first quarter 12 pointer had to have the Takers sweating a bit. Interestingly, Bubba used to always say he liked playing WRs in the rain because they had the advantage on the slippery turf of knowing where they were going. The Metcalf TD reminded me of that statement as it chopped the Taker lead in half. The Takers were led by an MVP performance by Burrows and Debo as they kept pace with the Black & Blue. The Beans were led by Wentz and Metcalf in their 6th loss in a row. BYEMEGEDDON hit the Beans so hard they only had one player with points on their bench. Pre-Game Hype:
