![]() Week 4 finds only 1 winless team and no undefeated teams. Week 4 was certainly am interesting week. We had the Gibson waiver issue, NFL games that were moved a day or 2 and then one was moved several weeks. We had 2 Monday night games(and we were not even sure about that until Monday afternoon). I sure put the kibosh on the NFL by congratulating them on how well they were doing with COVD-19 last week. The Commissioner’s temperament is moderate as the Dream team lost but the EAGLES won their first game and catapulting to first place in the NFC Least 3 wins in 4 weeks (11 games) and one win was guaranteed of Washington played Philly (we all know Philly only ties the Bengals). The old web (http://swffl.50megs.com) has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive. Send any ideas to me and I will see what I can do. Key Matchups to watch this Week The Jelly Bens will try to keep their league high hot streak going against the Croatans who are hoping to build a streak. The Black Assassins will try to keep pace with the rest of the first place crowd by defeating the Body Shop. The Black & Blue Attack will try to keep that top spot in the standings at the expense of the Roxborough Wranglers who are trying to get that first “W”. The Money Takers will try stay above 500 by defeating the Dream Team who are trying to get to 500. The Good Fellas will try to hold on to that final money spot by beating the Fightin’ Irish. Spock was 4 of 5 last week making him 4 of 10 (40%) on the year. He regains top billing. Norm (my estimates) was 2 for 5 last week making him 6 of 10 (60%) on the year. His lines (my estimates) appear below: C -1 JB (284) DT -9 MT (293)BS -2 BA (276) GF -2 FI (268) RW -1 BB (283) There were 0 games final on Sunday (Monday night double-header). All the games had some Monday night madness (some more than others). The Croatans and a 65.6 point lead proved to be too much from the Good Fellas and Ridley (invisible on Monday night). The Croatans were led by Chark and monster games by Mixon and OBJ as they finally got a notch in the “W” column and did it in style by scoring the helmet as well. The Fellas were led by Murray in the loss. The Fellas had some better options but their whole roster would have fell short of keeping the Croatans winless. The Black & Blue Attack, Jones and a 55.7 pt. lead held off the Body Shop, Mahomes and Hardman on Monday night. The Attack was led by Dak as the climbed to the top of the standings. The Shop was led by Mahomes and Andrews in the loss. The Shop had some better options on the bench, but not enough to make the difference. |
The Money Takers carried 44.6 pt. lead into Monday night against the Roxborough Wranglers. The Takers were led to the 500 mark by Brees, Kupp, Thielen and a very healthy Kittle. Streaming TE suggestion: any TE playing the EAGLES. The Wranglers were ed by Allen and Cooper in the loss. The Wranglers had some better options on the bench, but even their best lineup would have left them still searching for a “W”. The defending champion Black Assassins, Adams, Kelce and Butker led the Dream Team, Gurley and Julio by 18.8 pts. going into Monday night. The Chiefs pretty much took the first 3 quarters off, Adams did not pay at all (against his will) and Julio barely made it through the first half. In the end The Assassins notched the “W”, thanks in large part to Wilson, Carson and Fuller. The Dream Team was led by Watson in the loss. The Dream Team’s best lineup would have had both teams at 2-2. The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Jelly Beans and the Fightin’ Irish. The Irish and the PACKERS held a tenuous 17.3 pt. lead going into Monday night against the Beans, Matty Ice and the cheetah. Matty Ice metled and the cheetah had an OK game. The Beans managed to eke out a win (that I thought would be a blow-out after Monday night), led by Cook, Gordon and Robinson. The Irish were led by Jackson, Evans and Lamb in the loss. The Irish had plenty of options that would have had them in a 4-way tie for first place instead of the Beans. CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
