WEEK 6:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the JELLY BEANS(129.9 - 101.7)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Roxborough Wranglers won their 3rd game in a row and kept a share of first place by beating the Jelly Beans. The Wranglers were led by Matty Ice, David Johnson and Golden Tate. The Jelly Beans failed to field a 20 point starter as they dropped to 1-4. A Kirk Cousins start would have knocked the Wranglers out of the first place tie and the Jelly Beans would have a lot more company in the basement. Pre-Game Hype: The Roxborough Wranglers will try to keep their tie for the top slot this week against the Jelly Beans who are trying to climb out of the bottom spot. The Predictions/History

WEEK 6:
The BODY SHOP defeated the CROATANS(156.1 - 126.3)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Body Shop and a 67.9 point lead proved to be too much for the Croatans, Golladay and Praeter on Monday night. The Shop was led by Mahomes, Carson, Conner and Hooper in the victory. The Croatans were led by Wentz and Prater in the loss. The Croatans left a boat load of Hunter Henry points on the bench, but even they would not have changed the outcome of the game. Pre-Game Hype: The Croatans and Body Shop will meet in game amongst the teams in the log jam at 2-3. The Predictions/History

WEEK 6:
The M. TAKERS defeated the DREAM TEAM(93.1 - 68.2)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Money Takers won their 5th in a row and kept a hold on the top spot in the standings by defeating the Dream team. The Takers were led by Murray in the win. With a final total of 93.1, the Takers would not have beaten any other team this week. Perhaps that is how it goes for teams of destiny. The Dream Team busted up the “Hemet Hangover” last week. Well I can tell you tales of its demise were greatly exaggerated as the Dream Team failed to break 70 points. Even Run CMC failed to break the 20 point barrier. A Rivers and Metcalf start would have knocked the Takers out of their penthouse digs. Pre-Game Hype: The Money Takers will take on the Dream Team in a battle of money teams. The Predictions/History

WEEK 6:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(158.3 - 111.8)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Good Fellas notched their first helmet of the year as they defeated the Fightin’ Irish. The Fellas were led by Wilson, Zeke, Edelman and the PATRIOTS. The Irish were led by Brady and Chubb in the loss. The Irish left some points on the bench but not enough to make a difference in the outcome of the game. Pre-Game Hype: The Good Fellas and Fightin’ Irish will meet as they both try to break out of that 2-3 log jam. The Predictions/History

WEEK 6:
The BLACK & BLUE defeated the B ASSASSINS(136.7 - 111.8)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Black & Blue Attack and the Black Assassins. In the first of the revived “Black” bowls, the Attack carried a 36.6 point lead into Monday night against the Assassins and Mitchell. Ok – there really were slim pickings when it came to “GOW” honors. A Rodgers start would have made things at least a little more interesting, but alas even the GOW was more or less a blowout. The Arrack was led by Watson, Godwin and Hill in the victory. The Assassins were led by Evens and Scary Terry (no don’t like that nickname). Pre-Game Hype: In the return of the “Black” bowl, the Black Assassins will meet the Black & Blue Attack. The Predictions/History
