WEEK 2:
The ROXB WRANGLERS defeated the DREAM TEAM(151.4 - 88.0)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Roxborough Wranglers and Dream Team met in a contest of undefeated teams. Unfortunately the Dream Team must have been a little hungover (or over-confident) in that Week 1 helmet. The Wranglers notched a 60+ point victory over the Dream Team due in large part Matty Ice, Barkley and Cook. The Dream Team was led by Goff and many of their top scorers for Week 1 took Week 2 off. Pre-Game Hype:
Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % The Dream Team and Roxborough Wranglers will meet in week 2, fresh off of week 1 victories. |

WEEK 2:
The B ASSASSINS defeated the CROATANS(104.5 - 86.6)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In a contest between former partners (both in search of their first “W” since the break-up), the Black Assassins drew first blood against the Croatans as a 17 pt. lead held up against the Croatans and Njoku (who was yet another player that left their contest early) on Monday night. Despite the outcome, The Assassins failed to field a 20 point starter. The Croatans were led by Wentz and Golladay on the loss. A Penny start would have closed the gap, but still would have been short. Pre-Game Hype:
Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % Week 2 features a matchup of recently estranged ex-partners the Croatoans and the Black Assassins, both in search of their first “W” flying solo. |

WEEK 2:
The GOOD FELLAS defeated the JELLY BEANS(128.6 - 77.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In a family affair, between teams looking for that initial 2019 “W”, the Good Fellas and a 80.8 pt. were enough to hold off the Jelly Beans, Bell, Landry and the BROWNS. That was some serious firepower for the Beans on Monday, but 80+ points was way too high an ask. The Fellas were led by Prescott in the win. Julio led the Beans in the loss, but they had left al of points on the bench. A Jimmy G start (Big Ben left early) and an Andrews start would have turned the tide. Pre-Game Hype:
Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % In a family affair, the Jelly Beans will meet the Good Fellas, bit still looking for that first 2019 “W”. |

WEEK 2:
The M. TAKERS defeated the BODY SHOP(143.2 - 136.9)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Money Takers and the Body Shop. The Shop carried a 16.5 pt. lead into Monday night against the Takers and Mayfield. The Browns kept kicking FGs or running the ball on and the Takers had to be sweating. Finally in the 3rd quarter, Mayfield connected with OBJ on a long TD and ended the suspense. Hmmm . . . A late Monday night 50+ yard TD by a BROWNS WR ends a SWFFL game involving the Body Shop. Reminds me of the Webster Slaughter surprise ending that gave the Shop a ”W” a couple of decades ago. The Takers were led Mayfield, Jones, Boyd and Kelce as they wrapped up that initial 2019 “W”. The Shop was led by Mahomes in the loss. A Sanders start would have kept the Shop undefeated. Pre-Game Hype:
Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % The Defending Champion Body Shop will try to keep rolling against the Money Takers in week 2. |

WEEK 2:
The BLACK & BLUE defeated the FIGHTIN' IRISH(172.5 - 102.5)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Black & Blue Attack notched the Week 2 helmet in their victory over the Fightin’ Irish. The Attack, OBJ and 54.7 pt. lead held off the Irish and Chubb on Monday Night. The Attack was led by Ekeler, OBJ, Godwin, Ridley and MacDonald in their climb to the top of the Standings. The Irish game pretty much ended when Brees and Donald decided to shake hands violently in the middle of a pass play. Ross led the Irish in the loss. Pre-Game Hype:
Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % The Black & Blue Attack will meet the Fightin’ Irish in week 2 as undefeated teams. |
