The Roxborough Wrangler were tied for last coming into week 6. The Young Gunz were in first place winning the helmet 4 out of 5 weeks. On paper this one is easy. Fortunately for the Wranglers we don’t play these games on paper (at least not any more). Now we play them on some virtual silicon field somewhere and on that sheet of silicon the Wranglers, led by Cam and Carlos, pulled off the upset. AB and Larry Fitz led the Gunz in the loss. A Cousins start would have kept the Gunz in that top spot. |

The Good Fellas carried a 55.2 pt. lead into Monday night against the Bishops of Battle and they had Murray in their back pocket. With the “W” in the bag, the Fellas were just looking to win their first helmet. Due to stellar performance by Fournette, Ingram, Evans and the RAMS, they did grab that helmet. Bell was the only Bishop starter to clear the 20 pt. mark. The Bishops did not have nearly enough help on the bench. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Money Takers and the Body Shop. The Takers carried a 10.7 pt. lead into Monday night against the Body Shop and Delanie Walker. Walker got about half way there and for the second week in a row, the Shop saw a very winnable game slip through their fingers on Monday night (Would I go out of my way to pick on the Shop? Maybe, but the Dream Team was the team the Shop should have beaten last week – so this one was easy). The Takers were led by Watson as they grabbed first place. That was a gutsy move playing the kid over TB 12, and it paid off big time. The Shop was led by McKinnon, Jones and the RAVENS in the loss. The Shop has been playing into some tough luck, but the Rodgers injury may have just killed all their hopes. It looks like the Shop will have to lean on an EAGLE to lead their comeback. That has really got to hurt the Shop front office. And if they had made that move this week they would have climbed back to 500. |

The Jelly Beans, TY Hilton and a 20 pt. lead proved to be too much for the Black & Blue Attack and Brisset on Monday night. The LION double-bubble led the Beans as they jumped above the Money Line. Demaryius was the only Attack starter to clear the 20 pt. barrier. Even the Attack’s best lineup would have come up just short of the “W” and that last Money spot. |
