![]() We finally did it. I could not fit all the transactions on that little box (enough for 18 transactions). The only transaction that did not fit is below (figures it would have be this one): The old website (http://swffl.50megs.com) has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive. Send any ideas to me and I will see what I can do. I added the "CBS Guru" draft analysis to my analysis, and will compare both to the results at the end of the year. Key Matchups to watch this Week The Black & Blue Attack will try to keep up with the 4-1 club by defeating the 1-4 Good Fellas. The Bishops of Battle will meet the Fightin' Irish in a contest between 2-3 teams. In the only Money Team battle, the Body Shop will take on the Money Takers, and unless you are as tone-deaf as a Washington politician, you probably noticed, there may be some bad blood here. The Young Gunz will try to stay at the top by beating the Jelly Beans. Spock was 3 of 5 making him 8/15 (53%) for the year. He retains top billing. Norm was 0 of 5 making 6/15 (40%) for the year. Hs Lines (my estimates) appear below: GF -2 BB (256) DT -8 RW (266)BI -1 FI (251) JB -1 YG (255) MT -2 BS (254) The Monday Night matchup produced 2 games with some real Monday Night Madness, and 3 games were decided on Sunday night. The Money Takers edged the Dream Team by 12.2 points to take their place among the 4-1 club. The Takers were led by SeaBass and the re-acquired Rivers. The Dream Team was led by Rodgers and Larry Fitz. Interestingly, the Takers front office has informed me that Fitzgerald's 26.1 on Thursday forced them to re-evaluate their Tannehill plan. So if Larry only puts up a 12, the Takers stand pat and he Dream Team wins. My player on Thursday scores 20+ on Thursday and my team loses because he scored too much. The Dream Team is truly jinxed this year. New Dream team rule do not trade anything with Brett, not players (last year Peterson for Bell), or draft slots (this year) or anything else. Your team is tainted once the Brett-master touches it. Does anyone remember that 0-6 Dream Team that manages to make the Money? You must remember, I only bring it up every chance I can. |
The Body Shop climbed into the 4-1 club by rather soundly defeating the Jelly Beans. The Shop was led by Stafford and an MVP performance by Elliot. The Beans were led by COLT double-bubble in the loss, and they had little help on the bench. The Young Gunz put 58.9 pt. beating on the Roxborough Wranglers to keep the top spot in the standings and win their second helmet in a row. Big Benn, Howard, Williams, Bennet and Vinatieri all combined for the high score of the year. The Wranglers were led by Johnson and Marshall in the loss. The Wranglers whole roster was outscored by the Gunz this week. The Fightin' Irish, Benajamin and the PANTHERS overcame a 10.4 pt. lead by the Good Fellas on Monday night. The Irish were led by Brady and Coates as they joined the 2-3 crowd tied for 5th. The Fellas were led by Dalton and Brown in the loss that left them at 1-4. When you lose by 3.6 points, there general is a move or 3 or 4 that would have made the difference, but the Fellas played their best lineup. The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Black & Blue Attack and the Bishops of Battle. This was "GOW" mainly because it involved a Money Team. The Attack Evans and Olsen overcame a 39.6 point lead and Gano on Monday night. Evans and Olsen led the Attack to the safety of the 4-1 club. Copper was the only starter to clear the 20 point mark for the Bishops of Battle. A Hyde or Beasley start would have given us 2 3-2 teams so that gap between the haves and have-nots would not seem so large at this early stage of the season. OK I am deluding myself by calling game 5 the early part of the season. It is the only way I can go on. CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
