NORM'S LINES (My Estimates) FORMAT - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

Week 3 finds 1 undefeated team and 1 winless team. There is a game in Europe this week, so make sure you have players in that game where you want them (started or benched) before the kickoff on Sunday morning. The transaction wire is busy as ever, thanks Young Gunz (what's up with all the Tight End transactions). I know there was a lot of chatter about removing the 1:00 deadline, and I even see the rationale. However, I do not feel it is ever right to change the rules in the middle of the season. The only way I would consider a mid-season rule change is if every team agreed. If we do get a majority, I will enact the change at the beginning of 2017.

The old website (http://swffl.50megs.com) has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive. Send any ideas to me and I will see what I can do. I added the "CBS Guru" draft analysis to my analysis, and will compare both to the results at the end of the year.

Key Matchups to watch this Week

In a battle of 1-2 teams, the Roxborough Wranglers will take on the Good Fellas. In a battle of 2-1 teams the Money Takers will meet the Bishops of Battle. In a family affair, the Jelly Beans will take on the winless Dream Team. The Black & Blue Attack will try to remain undefeated by beating the Body Shop. The Young Gunz will try to keep their money spot by knocking off the Fightin' Irish.

Norm was 4/5 (80%) last week and he maintains top billing. Spock was 2/5 (40%) and his Locks appear below:

GF  -6 RW (246)     BB -19 BS (267)
MT  -4 BI (252)     YG -14 FI (252)
JB -13 DT (245)

The Monday Night matchup drew a high degree of Monday Night Madness as only one game was decided on Sunday night.

The previously winless Roxborough Wranglers defeated the previously undefeated Bishops of Battle. The Wranglers were led by D. Johnson, Blount and Kelce as they notched that first "W". The Bishops of Battle were led by Bortles and McCoy in their first 2016 loss. Now, if the used all their WRs and the TE on their bench they would still be undefeated.

The Money Takers and a 81.5 point lead were way too much for the Figtin' Irish, Brees and Tamme on Monday night. The Takers were led by Austin, Rudolph and the VIKINGS as they notched their first helmet of 2016. The Irish were led by Brees and Landry in their second loss of the season. The Irish left some bullets on the bench but not enough to make a difference.

The Good Fellas and their 45.3 lead were also too much for the Jelly Beans, Cooks and Jones. That is a large number of points but I could see a duo like that covering that gap. They had off weeks and it was not to be. The fellas were led by Taylor, Nelson and Antonio Brown. Brown puts up a 26 when the Steelers are all but shutout. Maybe he deserved to be that first pick. The Beans lost despite very nice performances by Tucker and the Colt double-bubble. The Beans could have stayed over .500 with some pieces from the bench, especially Sanders. That Wentz-Luck decision looks like it may haunt the Beans every week.

The Black & Blue Attack carried a 38.2 point lead into Monday night against the Young Gunz and Coleman in a battle of undefeateds. Now that night seem to be a tall task even for a #1 RB. For the lesser half of a RB by committee, this is Mission impossible. After Coleman's 3rd TD, not so much. The Attack hung on, due to Murray and Evans (and Freeman getting all the yardage not at the goal line). The Gunz were led by Coleman and Robinson in their first loss. A Thomas start would have put the Gunz on first.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Body Shop and the Dream Team. The Shop, due to a inaccurate weather report for Green Bay, switched out Marvin Jones Jr. and Stafford before leaving for Dallas (why would anyone want to go there). The Shop finds out the skies are blue in Green Bay, but he gets stuck circling the Dallas airport as the lineup deadline passes. Turs out the only thing falling from the skies in Green Bay were TD passes from Stafford and Rodgers. Things looked bad for the Shop but Michael ran him back into the game. Prescott and Elliot gave the Shop a 27.3 point lead going into Monday night against the Dream Team, Snead and Fleener. Snead was inactive and Fleener came up 3.4 points short. If a certain rule had been changed, Sanu could have replaced Snead and the Dream Team would not be winless. Of course the Dream Team could have played it safe on Sunday morning too.

CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
Dream Team (Norm): Suspiciously Absent
Body Shop (Casey): "Keep moving ... Nothing to see here."
