![]() Down to 10 transactions this week, however based on the beginning of Week 12, I think we will be back up there next week. The standings seem to be compressing a bit. There are 5 teams within 2 games of first place and 8 teams within one game of a Money spot. Hey look who won the helmet this week . . . shh . . The Dream Team is silently sneaking up on you all. The old website (http://swffl.50megs.com) has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive. Send any ideas to me and I will see what I can do. I added the "CBS Guru" draft analysis to my analysis, and will compare both to the results at the end of the year. Key Matchups to watch this Week In a family affair, the Jelly Beans will try to hold o to their Money Spot by avenging their early season loss to the Good Fellas. The Roxborough Wranglers will try to stay within shouting range of the money by completing the season sweep of the Bishops of Battle. The Money Takers will try to get back in the Money by sweeping the Figthin' Irish. The Body Shop will try to keep their Money Spot by sweeping the suddenly resurgent Dream Team (Coach Casey please keep Witten on the bench). And in what is sure to be the Game of the Week, the black & Blue Attack will try to complete the season sweep of the Young Gunz and avoid the top spot flip-flop that has gone on the last few weeks. Norm was 2 of 5 making 22/45 (49%) for the year. He retains top billing. Spock was 2 of 5 making him 25/45 (56%) for the year. His Locks appear below: JB -3 GF (251) BS -7 DT (255)RW -1 BI (255) BB -3 YG (263) MT -6 FI (252) The Monday Night match-up produced 2 games with some Monday Night Madness, the other 3 games were decided on Sunday night. The Money Takers completed the season sweep of the Good Fellas and had SeaBass in their back pocket on Monday night (apparently the Takers have large back pockets). The Takers were led by Dez and the VIKINGS as they notched their 2nd "W" in a row and poised themselves to pick off a Money spot. The Fellas failed to field a 20 point starter and also failed to clear triple digits as they snapped a 4 game winning streak with a bang. The Fellas really had very little help on the bench. The Dream Team, led by Rodgers, Bell and Jennings, avenged their early season loss to the Young Gunz. IN the process they notched thweir 3rd "W" in arrow, their first helmet and their 2nd "W" in a row against the first place team. I have to brag now, in case this little run ends. The Gunz were led by Brees and Johnson in the loss that has them on the down end of the little flip-flop at the top they have going with the Black & Blue Attack. The flip may flop again as they face the Attack in Week 12. |
The Jelly Beans, Murray and a 30.2 pt. lead proved to be too much for the Bishops of Battle and Cooper on Monday Night. The Beans avenged their early season loss to the Bishops based largely on nice performances by Luck, Kelly, Hinton and Parker. Baldwin was the only Bishop starter to clear 20 points. The Bishops left some bullets on the bench, but not enough to matter. The Black & Blue Attack, Carr, Miller, Hopkins barely overcame a 53.3 t. lead against the Roxborough Wranglers and Crabtree (In fact a normal Crabtree performance keeps the Attack in second palce). The Attack was led by Carr and Prosise as they regained first place and completed the sweep of the Wranglers. The Wranglers were led by Cousins and Edelman in the loss. The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Body Shop and Fightin' Irish. I could have easily went with the Attack-Wranglers game and maybe I should have. As long as I am commissioner I get to go rogue some time. The Irish was led by Brady and Crowder as they avenged their early season 5 pt. loss to the Shop. The Shop was led bu Prescott and Matthews in their 4th loss in a row. The common thing in at least the last 3 losses is the Shops best lineup wins and their best lineup included Witten (who was not in the starting lineup). That is why I am personally lobbying for the continued Witten benching at least for one more week. In the end this game was the closest game ad despite the lack of Monday night madness, I made it "GOW". I am just a rebel!!! CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
