The Good Fellas took out the Body Shop, a money team, fairly easy as the Shop barely cleared the 70 point barrier. The Fellas were led by Dalton, Matthews and Eifert as they climbed to within a game of 4th place. The Shop failed to field a 20 point starter and while Dak had a lot of points on the bench, the Shop roster total would have barely beat the Fellas starting lineup. The poor performance leaves the Shop as the lowest scoring team in the league, yet their record has them tied for first. Obviously, it must be that vaunted Shop defense?? |

The Roxborough Wranglers also knocked off a money team in the Money Takers. The Wranglers, due in large part to performance by Ryan, Forte and Kelce, built up 47.5 point lead going into Monday against the Money Takers, Rudolph and the VIKINGS. The Wranglers probably spent more time on Monday watching to see if the Irish were going to steal their helmet then they did watching the Taker VIKING players. The Takers were led by Hurns and Dez in their 3rd loss in a row and they have now dropped out of the money. The Takers had some options on the bench, but none that would have changed the outcome of the game. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Jelly Beans and the Black & Blue Attack. I don’t like making such a low scoring game the GOW, but it involved an existing Money Team and a new money team, it was a very close game and there was some Monday Night madness. The Beans and 10.6 point lead barely held off the attack and Asiata on Monday night. The win moved the Beans into a money position and completed the 0-4 performances by Money teams in week 8. The Beans were led by Luck as the crossed the Money Line. The Attack was led by Winston and Murray in the loss (Mike, how could you sit Carr?). Carr was just one of many options on the Attack bench that would have made up a less than 2 point difference. |

The Fightin’ Irish wrapped up their win against the Dream Team on Sunday and still had Diggs in their back pocket on Monday. The Irish scored their first helmet largely due to the performances of Brady (MVP), the Gronk and Diggs. The Dream Team wasted very nice performances by Rodgers and Sanu. The win moves the Irish within a game of first place. The Dream Team falls to 0-8. I honestly cannot believe my current roster is 0-8. |

In a very close game the Bishops of Battle took out the top money team, the Young Gunz. The Bishops were led by Palmer and Cooper as they knocked off the top dog and climbed into a tie for fourth place. Green an Reed led the Gunz as they lost their 2nd of the year. The Gunz has several option on the bench that would have given them a 1 game lead plus points on those chasing them. |
