The Roxborough Wranglers eked out a win over the Good Fellas. The Wranglers were led by Cousins and Crabtree as they climbed back to .500. The Fellas were led by Gordon, Brown and the old man Steve Smith. Despite the small margin the Fellas played nearly a perfect lineup and could not have won. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Money Takers and the Bishops of Battle. The Takers, Rudolph and the VIKING just barely overcame the Bishops, Beckham and a 10.6 pt. lead. The good news for the Bishops, the VIKINGS defense came back to Earth. The bad news was Bradford seems to like Rudolph the “RedZoned” Tight End and more bad news was that Odell caught an early Unsportsman-like penalty and played like a power forward with 5 fouls for the rest of the night. The Takers were led by a balanced attack as no one starter put up more than 20 in the win tah has them in a 4 way tie for first place. Bortles put up a 30 point performance for the Bishops in the loss. They had several options on the bench that would have made a difference. A Miler start over Pitta would have had the Bishops over the Money Line instead of the Takers. |

In a family affair the Jelly Beans made short work of a short-handed Dream Team. The Beans were led by Luck, Sanders and MVP performance by Julio. The most amazing part of Julio’s performance is that he put up 300 yards receiving but only scored 1 TD (although it was a 75 yard TD). The BYE week (on top of the Peterson IR) left the Dream Team deciding which 2 TEs did they have to play. Ont op all that bad news , the DT head office fund out that (“Flash” Gordon) one part of the Dream Team “finish strong” strategy found his way back to rehab again. Well on the bright side, Bell (the only starter over 20 pts,) did look every bit as good as advertised, although DeAngelo vultured the only rushing TD Big Bean was willing to allow on Redemption Sunday. The Dream Team managed to choose the wrong TEs, but it would not have mattered. The Dream Team may be looking for its on “Redemption Sunday” in Week 5. I warned you, back to normal now. |

The Body Shop and a 38.2 point lead proved to be too much for the Black & Blue Attack and Sheppard on Monday night. The Shop was led by Elliot, Fuller and Reed in the “W” that has them in a tie for first place. The Attack was led by Rivers (nice trade), Murray and Olsen in the loss. There were some points left on the bench for the Attack, but not enough to make a difference. |

The Young Gunz and an 88.2 point lead were way, way too much for the Fightin’ Irish, Diggs and Walsh on Monday night. The Gunz “Redemption Sunday”ed their way to their first helmet and the top of the Standings as Big Ben fell just short of beating out Julio for MVP. The Gunz also got nice performances out of Green and Thomas. The Irish failed to field any 20 point starters, The weird thing is the 54.1 point performance by Matty Ice that sat on the bench would not have changed the result for the Irish. |
