The Jelly Beans avenged their early season loss to the Good Fellas. Landry and Marshall led the Beans to the win in this family affair that also allowed the Beans to stay just behind the Wranglers and win their4th in a row. The Fellas were led by Green in the loss that dropped them to .500. The Fellas had some bullets on the bench, but none that would have affected the outcome. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Bishops of Battle and the Body Shop. The Bishops, and Benjamin easily overcame 9.9 point lead on Monday night and swept the Body Shop. The Bishops were led by Bortles, Hilton and Benjamin as they climbed back to .500. The Shop was led by Carr, Johnson and Gronk in the loss. A CJ Anderson would have the Shop at .500 instead of the Bishops. So was this the result of the ghost of the Pirate Parrot?? Perhaps some of that ins ide intel was still in play. Or maybe the Bishops just have the Shop’s number. |

The Young Gunz avenged their early season loss to the Dream Team and notched their 2nd helmet of the season. The Gunz were led by Brady, Ivory and a MVP performance by former Dream Teamer AD (as in All Day) Peterson. Watkins and Gano led the Dream Team in their 7th straight loss. It is amazing how a team can win 4 in a row (including their only sub-100 game) and then reel off 7 straight losses. I suppose the 1677 points we faced does in fact play a big role (despite what others may say – all in one or 2 games). I still favor head-to-head competition. |

The Roxborough Wranglers stretched their current wining streak to 3 as they completed the season sweep of the money Takers. Only Megatron cleared 20 points (Palmer if you allow for rounding) as the Wranglers continued to dominate the standings. The Only Beckham (last year’s catch was clearly better on many levels) cleared the 20 point barrier for the Takers. A SEAHAWK double-bubble start would have toppled the Wranglers. As I stated last week in the notes, many times these “if so and so started” are reaches. Wilson and Baldwin certainly fall into this category. |

The Black & Blue Attack avenged their early season loss to the Fightin’ Irish as Gilmore could not overcome a 15.9 point lead on Monday night. The Attack was led by Big Ben, Williams, Bryant and Gates as they held fast to their Money Spot. The Irish was led by Manning, Jackson and the PANTHERS as they now have dropped 4 in a row. |
