SPOCK'S LOCKS FORMAT - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

Week 6 still finds the Body Shop undefeated, at least this week they were spared all the panic. At the prodding of a former commissioner I reviewed the transaction costs I have above. I usually wait until closer to the end of the year now since Sportsline keeps an accurate account and I don't have to worry so much about it until the end. I had missed a few transactions. The totals above should match the transactions cost as of Week 6 line-up deadline. The week 17 "CAP" has been reached. 100% of all transactions fees will go to the league pool.

Don't forget to keep an eye on the old web site (http://swffl.50megs.com). It has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive materials there, like the complete 2013 Draft analysis, as I develop them. Anybody with ideas, send them to me and I will see what I can do.

Key Matchups to watch this Week

The Good Fellas will try to keep their Money spot at the expense of the Bishops of Battle. In a battle of ex-partners the "Team to Beat" Black and Blue Attack will betaking on the Money Takers (will Eddie and Bubba be fighting over Billy G.'s computer?) The Jelly Beans will try to hand the Body Shop their first "L". The Roxborough Wranglers and Fightin' Irish will meet up in a brotherly battle for the basement. The Dream Team will try to end that Young Gunz dream of a 3-peat.

Spock was 4/5 last week making him 13/20 (65%) on the year. His locks appear above. Norm was 1/5 last week making him 9/20(45%) on the year. His Lines (my estimates) appear below:

BI -1 GF (258)     RW -1 FI (249)
MT -1 BB (253)     DT -9 YG (271)
JB -2 BS (259)

Four games had a little Monday Night Madness. The other one was over on Sunday.

The Dream Team climbed to .500 and above the Money Line by handing the Money Takers their 2nd loss in a row. The Dream Team was led by Foster, Boldin, Smith and Bailey (as they continued 2014 practice of starting the worst QB on their roster). The Takers were led by Manning in the loss and did not have enough help on the bench to make a difference.

The Body Shop climbed to 6-0 as 70.3 point lead proved to be way too much for the Defending Back-To-Back Champion Young Gunz and the 49ERS on Monday night. The Shop was led by Forte, Murray, Gostkowski and Mr. Smith Sr. as they kept their record clean. The Young Gunz were led by Cousins in the loss. They also did not have enough help on the bench to give the Shop their first loss.

The Good Fellas, Dawson and 115.4 point lead was way too much for the Roxborough Wranglers and Davis on Monday Night. The Fellas were led by Foles, Bernard, Nelson and the EAGLES (the best transaction of the year) as they scored their 2nd Helmet and the largest margin of victory for the year. Nobody on the Wranglers roster (let alone their starting lineup) cleared the 20 point barrier.

The Figtin' Irish and Gore could not overcome a 52.4 point lead by the Black and Blue Attack on Monday night. The Attack were led by Luck and Demaryius as they continued to keep pace with the undefeated Body Shop. The Iris where led by Rivers and Sanu in the loss. A Sproles, Johnson, LaFelll and Witten start would have kept the "Anointed" Attack 2 games behind the actual front-running Body Shop.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Bishops of Battle and the Jelly Beans. I ma not really thrilled about this selection but was the closest game of the week and did have some Monday night Madness. The Beans and Crabtree just came up short against the Bishops and a 31.9 point lead. The Bishops were led by Cutler, Hilton and Thomas in the "W" that kept them in a tie for 4th place. The Beans were led by Crabtree in the loss. A Fitzgerald and Forsett or McFadden start would have had the Beans in that tie for 4th instead of the Bishops.
