![]() Week 10 found the top 2 teams take a little tumble. That is good news for all the other teams. The transaction wire is also on fire again. Normally, this reminder is not necessary because we rarely have trades. At any rate, the trade deadline is 1:00 PM Sunday, December 7th (Week 14). Speaking of which, the Dream Team is looking to deal a QB. So, send us a message if you want to make a deal. Don't forget to keep an eye on the old web site (http://swffl.50megs.com). It has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive materials there, like the complete 2013 Draft analysis, as I develop them. Anybody with ideas, send them to me and I will see what I can do. Key Matchups to watch this Week In a family affair the Dream Team will try to keep the Goodfellas from going after their Money Spot and avenging their ear;y season loss. In a mid-season Superbowl, the Body Shop will try to sweep the Black & Blue Attack. The Jelly Beans will try to sweep the Roxborough Wranglers in a contest of teams that are running out of time to turn the season around. The Money Takers will try to avenge their early season loss to the Fightin' Irish and keep up with the rest of the Money Teams. The Bishops of Battle will try to complete the season sweep of the Young Gunz and keep their Money hopes alive. Norm was 5/5 last week making him 23/40 (58%) on the year. He regains top billing. Spock was 2/5 last week making him 24/40 (60%). His locks appear below: DT -3 GF (273) MT -18 RW (247)BB -1 BS (287) BB -1 YG (251) JB -7 RW (247) Four games had a little Monday Night Madness. The other one were over on Sunday. The Dream Team carried a 3.4 point lead into Monday night against the first place Body Shop with Benjamin in their back pocket. The Dream Team avenged there early season loss due in large part to Stafford, Benjamin, Boldin, Smith and Megatron. The Dream Team won their 6th game in a row and pulled within a game of the current King if the Hill. The Shop was led by Wilson and Graham in the loss. The Jelly Beans and a 76.7 point lead were too much for the Fightin' Irish and Sproles on Monday night. Charles and Lynch led the Beans as they completed the season sweep of the Irish and snapped a 7 game losing streak. Only Robinson produced 20 points for the Irish in the loss. |
The Bishops of Battle, Cooper and a 63.1 point lead were too much for the Roxborough Wranglers and Maclan on Monday Night. The Bishops were led in the season sweep of the Wranglers by an MVP performance by Rodgers. Marshall and Thomas also helped the Bishops break their 3 game losing streak. The Wranglers were led by Brees and Lacey in the loss. The Money Takers completed the season sweep of the Young Gunz as Ertz and a 48.8 point lead were too much for the Takers and Newton on Monday night. The Takers looked like a shoe-in for the helmet as well and Peyton, Dez and Golden put up big points. However, that helmet did not last. The Gunz were led by Cam, Martavis and Emmanuel in the loss. The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Good Fellas and the Black & Blue Attack. The Fellas, Sanchez, McCoy. Matthews, and the EAGLES easily overcame a 29.3 point lead on Monday Night. In fact, Sanchez, Evans, Matthews and the EAGLES led the Fellas to their 3rd helmet of the year. The com from behind win kept the Fellas right on the doorstop of a Money Spot. The Attack was led by Big Ben and Demaryius in the loss. Fortunately for the Attack the Shop loss means they are still only a game out of first place. The Attack looks to remedy that next week when they take the Shop on in head to head competition. Not a play has been played or TD scored, but that game will probably be in this "GOW" slot next week. CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
