The Good Fellas and 37.6 point lead proved to be too much for the Roxborough Wranglers and Bress on Monday night. The Fellas were led by Bell and Olsen as they completed the season sweep of the Wranglers and pretty much locked up a Money Spot. The Wranglers were led by Brees in the loss. |

The Black & Blue gained a 32.8 point lead on the Fightin' Irish on Sunday and they still had Bennett in their back pocket. By completing the sweep of the Irish, the Attack has all but ensured their 5th SWFFL Championship. The Attack was led by Luck, Brown and Thomas in the victory. Although their 200 point game streak dies at 2, they only need to average 80 points or so in the last 2 weeks to sap their single season scoring record from last year. The Irish failed to field a 20 point scorer ad once again had the low score on the week. Coach Bone is saving all up for a triumphant run in 2015. |

The Money Takers avenged their early season loss to the Dream Team and all but clinched a Money Spot. The Takers were led by Beckham and Bryant as they scored their 2nd helmet of the year. I am trying to minimize my venting (aka whining), but I am tired of being the 2nd or 3rd highest scoring team and losing. If the Dream Team gives up 240 points, they will s et a new record for allowing points. Brady and Edelman led the Dream team in defeat. |

The Bishops of Battle and a 18.7 point lead were no match for the Jelly Beans and half their team on Monday night. The Beans were led by Cutler as they avenged their early season loss to the Bishops. The Bishops failed to field a 20 point scorer in a game they really needed to keep realistic chances at a Money Spot alive. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Body Shop and the Young Gunz. The Johnny Football experiment looked like it was going to be saved as 33.5 point lead looked like easy pickings for the Shop, Forte, stills and Graham on Monday night. However Johnny managed to drag down those Monday night players and it took them until very late in the game to secure the 2.8 victory for the Shop. The Shop failed to field a 20 point scorer as they clichéd a Money Spot. The Gunz were led by Barth in the loss. A Romo start would have beaten the Shop in a bit of irony. The Gunz won't three-peat, but honestly guys you did not have to give back so much of your winnings back in one year. We would have taken small yearly installments. Johnny Football ... really, really. Somebody should keep Mr. Met away from the keyboard. |
