The Bishops of the Battle notched their first "W" of the year against the Black & Blue Attack. The Bishops were led by Forte, Cobb and Megatron in the victory. The Attack was led by Luck and Graham in the loss. A RG3 and Moreno start could have kept the Attack undefeated. As it is both teams stand at 1-1. |

The Good Fellas found the win column against the Body Shop. The Fellas were led by Lynch and Edelman in the win. The Shop wasted a stellar performance by Julio. A Givens and a BUCCANEERS start would have kept the Shop undefeated, but both these teams are now in that 1-1 crowd. |

The defending Champion Young Gunz picked up their defense of the trophy after a slow start by scoring the Week 2 helmet against the Jelly Beans. I'll have to check this, but the Gunz must have the most early season helmets since they joined the league. The Gunz were led by Vick, Charles, Garcon and Marshall as they climbed above the Elite line. The Beans had a great performance by DeSewan, but unfortunately he was alone out there. The Beans left some points on the bench, but not enough that it would have made a difference. The Beans will have to try to grab that first "W" next week. |

The Fightin' Irish, BENGALS and a 25.8 point lead proved to be enough to hold off the M. Takers and Green. The Irish was led by and MVP performance by Rodgers as they remain undefeated. The Takers were led by Austin (Tavon not Miles) and the VIKINGS as they dropped to 1-1 and just below the Elite Line. An Olsen and SeaBass start would have kept the Takers undefeated and in tied for the top spot. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Dream Team and the Roxborough Wranglers. In week 1 the Dream team put up the highest score and the Wranglers had the lowest. So when they met in Week 2, on paper it looked like a blow out, but to quote six million sportscasters before me, that is why "We play the game". Ok, we actually watch others play the game and just collect points from their performances but you know what I mean. The Dream Team still prevailed, but their 30 point lead against the Wranglers, Brown and the Law firm was all but gone by the end of the game. And yes, in the final moments, I was calculating how long a TD Brown could score and the Dream Team could still win. Needles to say, the Dream Team safe until the clock hit triple zeros. The Dream Team was led by Manning, Nelson and Gates as they remained atop the standings. Newton and Bryant led the Wranglers in their valiant effort. A Rivers and Rudolph start would have allowed the Wranglers to leave the basement. |
