The Bishops of Battle got back on the winning track against the M. Takers. The Bishops were led by Thomas in the victory. The Takers departed from their high scoring trend in the loss. The Takers were led by Harvin in the los s. A Richardson start over Charles would have had the Takers keeping track with the leaders of the pack.

The Good Fellas and a 69.9 point lead proved to be far too much for the Black & Blue Attack, Fitzgerald, Davis and the 49ERS. The Fellas kept pace with the Young Gunz and notched their first Helmet based largely on the perfor mances by A.P. and McGahee. The Attack was led by Jones and Decker in the loss. The Attack left some significant points on the bench, but their best line up would have still come up short.

In a family affair the Fightin' Irish defeated the Roxborough Wranglers with Roberts in their back pocket on Monday night. The Irish was led by Manning and the Gronk in the victory. The Wranglers were led by Brady in the loss and there really wasn't any help sitting on the bench.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Dream Team and the Jelly Beans. I know I have occasionally overused my Commissioner's prerogative in this selection, but in this case my game really deserved GOW honors. The Dream Team and a 10 point lead looked to be dead in the water against the Jelly Beans and Gore. If there was any doubt, the first drive by the 49ERS made it appear that Gore would carry them and the Beans to victory. Th e 49ERS seemed to rely more and more on Alex Smith's arm and Hunter's legs as the game wore on but at half time Gore had more than cut the Dream Team lead in half. Unfortunately, for the Beans, the Cardinals did not put up much of a fight and by the third quarter the 49ERS decided to rest an already dinged up Gore. So in a rare event, the Dream Team survived a Monday night scare. The Dream Team was led by Stafford and Lynch as they ended big brother's 4 game winning streak. Only Witten managed to clear the 20 point barrier for the Jelly Beans. A Ballard or Moore start could have kept the Beans in a tie for first place.

The Young Gunz and a 28.5 point lead proved to be too much for the Body Shop and Akers on Monday night. The Gunz were led by Martin and the Giants as they kept their stranglehold at the top of the standings. The Shop was led by recently acquired Austin Miles in the loss. The Shop had no real help on the bench either. Both teams wound up at 5-3, above the .500 mark and more importantly above the Elite line.
