The Bishops of Battle swept the M. Takers in grand fashion. The 229.5 point total was the second highest score in league history. Although the Bishops did not finish in the Elite, that week 17 consolation prize has to help ease the pain (they also were the top scoring team this season). The Bishops wee led by Rodgers, DeAngelo Williams, Welker, Thomas and the TITANS. That TITAN pickup sure was worth it. The Takers were led by Spiller in the 100+ point loss. |

The Good Fellas completed the season sweep of the Black & Blue Attack. The Fellas were led by Romo, Morris and Peterson as they could not manage to do better than third place, despite finishing with a flurry on Sunday night. The Attack was led by Eli and Decker in their final loss of a season which I am quite sure the Attack brain trust would like to forget ASAP. |

The Fightin' Irish completed the season sweep of the Roxborough Wranglers. With a possible title on the line there was no room for brotherly mercy. The Irish were led by Peyton, Hilton and Andre Johnson as they sewed up second place. The Wranglers were led by Brady and Jennings in the loss. |

The Dream Team completed the season sweep of the Jelly Beans. With the final Elite spot on the line there was no room for brotherly mercy (hey have I heard that somewhere before). The Dream Team was led by Stafford and Crabtree as they replaced the Beans in that final Elite spot. The Beans were led by Kaepernick and Colston in their second loss in a row. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Young Gunz and Body Shop. The Young Gunz completed the season sweep of the Body Shop and wrapped up their first SWFFL Championship. After failing to clinch the trophy the last 2 weeks, the Young Gunz appeared to be going the route of the TEXANS. However, led by Brees, Martin, Blackmon and Graham, the Gunz not only finally sealed the Championship they also managed to grab the Week 17 second place consolation prize (I really hate it when the Champion nabs these prizes as well - unless of course it is the Dream Team doing the double-dipping). The Shop was led by Luck in the loss. As Casey pointed out to me, the Takers and the Shop were just never the same after their fist meeting. Congratulations Yung Gunz, but don't get used to that trophy. |
