NORM'S LINES (ESTIMATED) - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

Week 5 finds an awful lot of teams that are either 3-2 or 2-3. In fact there is only one undefeated team ad one 1-4 team. So everybody is still within a game or 2 of am money spot, however the Beans are pulling away from the pack. Try to get some clarification from SportsLine on an issue. Well the bye week sure juiced up the waiver wire. We even had a trade this week. I will have more about the Waiver Wire on a bulletin post this week. This one goes out to Toast, "Just Win Baby!!" Of course it would have been better if the Revenge had won.

Don't forget to keep an eye on the old web site (http://swffl.50megs.com). It has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive materials there, like the complete 2010 Draft analysis, as I develop them. Anybody with ideas, send them to me and I will see what I can do.

Key Matchups to watch this Week

The Dream Team and the Black Revenge meet in a contest between two 2-3 teams. The Jelly Beans will try to remain undefeated against the Roxborough Wranglers. The Body Shop will try to re-capture some of that 2010 wining spirit against the Fightin' Irish. In another match between 2-3 teams, the Black & Blue Attack take on the Good Fellas. The Money Takers and Young Gunz meet up in the only contest between current Money teams. Hey how about that, no contests between family members or former partners.

Norm was 3 of 5 making him 11 of 15 (73%) on the year and he retains top billing, his locks (actually my estimates) appear above. Spock was 2 of 5 making him 4 of 15 (27%) on the year. His lines appear below:

BR  -2 DT (260)     BB -3 GF (279)
JB -10 RW (270)     MT -1 YG (261)
FI -17 BS (271)

There were 2 games were over on Sunday. The other 3 had Monday Night Madness to some degree or another.

The Roxbourough Wranglers, led by the Manning actually playing this year, defeated the Black Revenge. The Revenge was led by Foster in the loss. Unfortunately for the Revenge they could not win won for Al, like Oakland did.

The Money Takers defeated the Body Shop to climb above the Money Line. The Takers were led by F-Jax, Bowe and the EAGLE double bubble. The Shop failed to start nay 20 point starters and to be honest they really did not have much help sitting on the bench either.

The Good Fellas, Gould, the BEARS and a 60.1 point lead were too much for the Young Gunz and Stafford. The Fellas were led by AP as they defeated the other group of youngsters. The Gunz were led by Stafford in the loss. The Gunz seem to have that wall again. What's up with that every year?

The Black & Blue Attack, Megatron and Best easily overcame a 5.4 pt. lead against the Fightin' Irish. The Attack netted their first helmet in large part due to the efforts of Newton, Best, Megatron, Wallace and Sea-Bass. Cam sure seems to be making the Attack forget about that Peyton pick. The Irish were led by Rivers, Gore and Cruz.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Dream Team and Jelly Beans. The Dream Team held a 17.2 point lead against the Jelly Beans. The Beans had Forte and Hanson left. Going into Monday, I figured I had very little chance, but Monday night proved to be very "Moday Nightish". By the end of 3 quarters we were still holding off the Beans. Then finally, late in the 4th Forte caught a 15 yard pass and put us out of our misery. Hanson added a garbage time FG and Forte add another reception, to finish it all off. In the End the Dream Team was 2-3 and the Beans were still undefeated. You know it is rare that the other 8 teams are pulling for my team. The Beans were led by Brees and Graham. The Dream Team was led by Rodgers in the loss. A Lynch start would have probably kept the Dream Team above the Money Line and would have slapped the Beans with their first "L".
