NORM'S LINES - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

Week 14 finds the championship all but wrapped up. The Body Shop has a 2 game and 190+ point lead with only 3 games left. It would take a miracle like say the team losing their QB for them to lose then trophy. Don't worry Casey, it will probably take more divine intervention than just Rodgers injury for you to fall to 2nd place. There is a 4 team tie at 7-7 for 4th place, so several teams still have a decent shot at a Elite spot. The schedule probably eliminates the Takers, but everyone else may technically still be alive.

Don't forget to keep an eye on the old web site (http://swffl.50megs.com). It has updated archives and historical records. I will also add some web-exclusive materials there, like the complete 2010 Draft analysis, as I develop them. Anybody with ideas, send them to me and I will see what I can do.

Key Matchups to watch this Week

The Dream Team will try sweep the Black Revenge and hold on that recently obtained Elite Spot. The Roxborough Wranglers will try to repeat their early season win over the M. Takers and ensure that they don wind up in the basement. The Fightin' Irish will try to sweep the defending champion Goodfellas and hold on to second place. The Jelly Beans will stay in the battle for second place by avenging their early season loss to the Black & Blue Attack. The Body shop will try to officially wrap up the title by completing the season sweep of the Young Gunz.

Norm was 4/5 last week making him 32/60 (53%) on the year. His lines (actually my estimates) are above. Spock was 2/5 last week making him 26/60 (43%) on the year. His locks appear below:

DT  -3 BR (279)     BB  -3 JB (251)
RW  -2 MT (240)     BS -14 YG (254)
FI -13 GF (233)

One game was over on Sunday, two were more or less over and the other two had some Monday Night Madness.

The Body Shop avenged their early season loss to the Good Fellas. The Shop was led by Floyd, Witten and the CARDINALS. Only Manning cleared the 20 point barrier for the Good Fellas. The Shop has won 4 straight and the Fellas have now dropped 5 straight. In another bit of irony, the Shop has basically locked up their second title in a game against the Fellas who failed to defend their second title.

The M. Takers avenged their Week 5 loss to the Black Revenge as Manning was unable to overcome a 60.6 point lead on Monday night. The Takers were led by Rivers, MJD and a (I think) record breaking performance by McFadden (more points than Vick vs. the REDKINS). The Revenge was led by C.J. in the loss. The Revenge could have halted their losing streak at 4 with their best lineup. The Takers will try to win 2 in a row for the first time this year next week.

The Black & Blue Attack avenged their early season loss to the Young Gunz as the Texan Double Bubble and a 10.4 point lead were too much for Boldin and Dickson. The Attack was led by Schaub, AJ, Garcon and Davis in the victory. The Gunz were led by Vick and Turner in the loss.

The Dream Team, Bradshaw and a 19.3 point lead were too much for the Roxborough Wranglers, Petersen, Mason and Steve Smith. The victory gave the Dream Team the season sweep, their 3rd victory in a row and at least one more week in the Elite. The Dream Team was led by Brees, Bradshw, Moore and the STEEELERS. Mason and DeSean led the Wranglers in the loss.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Jelly Beans and the Fightin' Irish. The Beans avenged their early season loss to the Irish as Flacco and a 0.2 point lead barely held off Rice on Monday night. The Beans were led by Colston. The Irish ere led by Brady. The Beans survived a last minute change of Stewart for Torain. A Lynch or Sims-Walker start would have kept the Irish title hopes a little stronger than the current lottery type odds they have now. As it is now, both teams are in a battle for second place (still a decent position to be in).

CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
Dream Team (Norm): Suspiciously Absent
Black Revenge (Eddy C.) prior to Week 14 lineup deadline: "As CEO of the Black Revenge, I would like to address the rumors of Toast's job as head coach to be in question.......he has assembled the 2nd best team in the League.....I've never seen such bad luck....we have to lead the league in getting beat by "helmet people".....I have the ultimate confidence in Toast's ability to lead the Revenge.....Rumors that I have contacted Wade Phillips are totally inaccurate....In the words of a long time eagles fan(since 1964)....'We will gettum next year'"
