The Dream Team and a 5.5 point lead were no match for the Black Revenge, CJ and the TITANS. The Revenge responded too Coach Casper's demand that a mere 'W would not be enough this week. He wanted the Helmet and Manning, CJ, Calvin Johnson and Bowe delivered that helmet. Thankfully CJ scored most of those pints on a garbage time long TD that made the final score look like a laugher - I don't think I could take another less than 5 point loss. Brees and Prater led t he Dream Team as they sunk below the Elite Line and to 2-4. The Revenge climbed to 500 and claimed that final Elite Spot. |

The M. Takers and Jones-Drew could not overcome an 8.9 point lead against the Roxborough Wranglers. That is rough when your number one pick can't put up a 9 on Monday night to give you the 'W'. The Takers were led by Maclin and Marshall (who they acquired in the trade), in fact Maclin is this weeks MVP. The Wranglers were led by Romo and DeSean Jackson as they sweated out the 1.4 point victory n Monday night. Most weeks this is the no-brainer Game of the Week, but the Game of The week had already been selected by the schedule makers. Sorry Takers & Wranglers. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Good Fellas and the Fightin' Irish. Any time you get to week 6 and have a match up of undefeated teams, that has t be the Game of the Week. Much like many Superbowls in the past, the game did not quite live up to the pre-game hype. The Fellas and a 20.7 point lead were too much for the Irish and Sims-Walker (what is it with the Jags and hyphenated names?). The Fellas were led by Manning as the y just barely cleared the 100 point mark. The Irish players (whole roster) all failed to clear 20 points. Admittedly with the top 2 teams, I was expecting a bit more scoring. The Irish could have (with their best lineup) stopped the Fellas on their thus fa r perfect defense of their title, and they would have remained undefeated. Granted it would have taken starting Forsett, Lynch, Pettigrew and Akers. I can't imagine starting 2 Seahawk running backs, actually 1 is hard to imagine. |

The Black & Blue Attack handed the Jelly Beans their 4th loss in a row (after a 2-0 start). The Attack as led by Garcon and the Texan Double Bubble. Flacco and Torian led the Beans in the loss. Both teams are tied up in that huge logjam at 2-4. Kolb and Steven Jackson over Flacco and McCoy would have halted the losing streak for the Beans. |

The Body Shop and a 47.5 point lead were too much for the Young Gunz and Bironas. The Shop was led by Foster and the Packer Double Bubble. The Gunz failed to have a starter or bench player break the 20 point barrier. In fact due to the BYE, injuries or other reasons, the Gunz roster was just rife with goose eggs. |
