The Dream Team and a 19.6 point lead were too much for the Black & Blue Attack & Marshall on Monday night. Delhome, Jacobs and Johnson led the Dream team to 4-3. A.P. and Daniels led the Attack in their 3rd loss in a row. A Lindell start would have had the Attack in first and the losing streak ended. On the other hand, if the Dream Team swapped prima-donna WRs (Ocho Cinco for TO) they would have beaten the Attack's best lineup. The Pre-Game Hype:The Black & Blue Attack will meet the Romo-less Dream Team in a contest of 3-3 teams. The Predictions/History:Spock: Black & Blue 119 Dream Team 113 Norm: Dream Team 115 Black & Blue 106 |

The Black Revenge took a step toward the basement door by defeating the Jelly Beans. The Revenge finds themselves only 3 games out of first and only 2 games out of the Elite. The Beans fall under \the .500 line, but are still only 2 games out. The Revenge was led by Evans and the BEARs. The Jelly Beans were led by McGahee in the losing battle. The Pre-Game Hype:The Jelly Beans who are trying to climb over that Elite Line will take on the Black Revenge who is trying to climb out of the basement. The Predictions/History:Spock: Jelly Beans 124 Black Revenge 103 Norm: Black Revenge 101 Jelly Beans 100 |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the M. Takers and the Good Fellas. The contest was a high scoring affair that was decided in Monday night and decided the current leader in the standings. That is the Game of the Week trifecta. The Takers and Welker overcame a 11.6 point deficit to the Good Fellas on Monday night. The Takers were led by the VIKING double-bubble. The win is the Takers 3rd in a row and put the Takers in first place. This is the same Taker team that appeared to have their season end in the first quarter of Week 1 when Brady was lost for the season. The Fellas wasted a nice performance by Steve Smith and a MVP performance by Steven Jackson. The Fellas fall from the top of the heap to the humungous logjam at 4-3/3-4. So they are one game out of first. They are also one game out of ninth place. The Pre-Game Hype:The M. Takers and Good Fellas meet in a battle of 4-2 teams in what could very well decide who spends week 8 on the top of the hill. The Predictions/History:Spock: Good Fellas 113 M. Takers 108 Norm: Good Fellas 106 M. Takers 104 |

The Tsunami Brothers, Moss and a 15.2 point lead were too much for the Body Shop and Eddie Royal. Orton, Portis and Moss led the Brothers to victory. Rhodes led the Shop. Both teas left lots of points on the bench. The Shop wins with a Bryant start over Colston and a Brad Johnson start. Of course a Lendale White start by the Brothers makes the whole question moot. The Pre-Game Hype:The Body Shop will try to keep pace with the leaders of the pack against the 3-3 Tsunami Brothers. The Predictions/History:Spock: Tsunami Bros 109 Body Shop 108 Norm: Tsunami Bros 101 Body Shop 98 |

The Quiet Storm had a 44.2 point lead and Prater in their back pocket on Monday night against the Young Gunz. The Storm has won 2 of 3 and are climbing back to respectability. The Gunz are 0-4 after a 3-0 start. The Strom was led by Big Ben and Johnson & Johnson on the way to their second helmet. Schuab led the Gunz in their 4th loss in a row. The Pre-Game Hype:The Young Gunz look to return to their helmet winning days earlier in the season against the 2-4 Quiet Storm (2-4, Joe, say it ain't so.) The Predictions/History:Spock: Young Gunz 119 Quiet Storm 116 Norm: Quiet Storm 106 Young Gunz 102 |
