The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Black & Blue Attack and the Jelly Beans. The Attack only had to win their game to wrap up the title. As it turns out, they did not need to win. The Attack won it in style. They wrapped up the season winning 3 helmets in a row. They were led by Brees, Peterson, Colston and the STEELERS. The Beans were led by Driver in the losing effort. So the Attack won the Title, the Week 17 helmet which was their third in a row and they were the only Elite Team to win in Week 17. Nice finish Mike and Eddie. |

The Quiet Storm managed to hold onto 3rd place despite losing the second game of the season series with the Good Fellas. The Storm was led by an MVP performance Andre Johnson and pretty good performance by Dwayne Bowe in the losing effort. The Good Fellas, besides winning their last game also won the Week 17 2nd place helmet and all that goes with that. The Fellas were led by Jackson and Rivers. The Scheffler TD in the Sunday night game secured the Week 17 2nd place prize. |

In a low scoring affair, the Tsunami Brothers completed the season sweep of the M. Takers. The Brothers were led by Breaston. The Takers did not have any player clear the 20 point barrier. Although the Takers loss closed out any title hopes, luckily it did not cost team second place because of the Storm loss. |

In a game that decided the final Elite spot, the Body Shop avenged their early season loss to the Dream Team. The Shop was led by Rodgers and the EAGLES. Unfortunately for the Shop, they needed to win by 40 more points. The Dream Team was led by Calvin Johnson in the losing effort as they limped into the final Elite spot. That makes the final Elite teams 0 for 3 in Week 17 so far. I guess it was a good thing these guys locked up their Elite spots earlier this season. |

The Young Gunz completed the season sweep against the Black Revenge. This was the closest game of the week and probably should have been the Game of the Week. However, it was the only game that did not involve a Elite Team, so the honors had to go elsewhere. The Gunz were led by Turner and Fitzgerald. The Revenge was led by Tomlinson. An Evans start over Curtis would have given the Revenge a Week 17 win. The Revenge had a disappointing season altogether. The Gunz started fast but faded in the mid-season. |
