The Black and Blue Attack, a 40.8 pt. lead and Peterson were too much for the Black Revenge and Ryan Grant on Monday night. The Attack was led by Brees and Willie Parker who may have already exceeded his 2007 TD count. The Revenge failed to have any player on the roster clear 20 pts. |

The Quiet Strom, a 48.2 pt. lead, Young and Miller were too much for the M. Takers, McFadden and Berrian. The Storm was led by Westbrook and Andre Johnson. The Takers season all but ended by 1:30 in week 1 as their first rounder limped off the field for the last time in 2008. I am sure the Brady injury has wrecked many a fantasy team this year. Sorry Bubba. |

The Good Fellas had a 22.7 point lead on the defending Champion Body Shop and they had Gre Jennings in their back pocket as well. The Fellas were led by Favre and Gore. The Shop's only 20 point player was Aaron Rodgers on the bench. The Shop had a rough week 1 in their title defense, plus a quick boot in Survivor (it was me or Casey). Casey how could you resist starting Rogers against Favre? |

The Dream Team defeated the Tsunami Brothers in week 1. The Dream Team was led in large part by the Cowboy double-bubble. I really understand the definition of bitter-sweet watching Romo and T.O. hooking up all day. The Tsunami Brothers were led by Randy Moss, who did not miss a step when Brady left the game. I'd be a little nervous about that QB situation in New England. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Young Gunz and the Jelly Beans. The Young Gunz and Cutler carried a 6 pt. lead into Monday night against the Beans, Driver and Crosby, In the early Monday night tilt Crosby and Driver gave the Beans a nice little lead. However in the nightcap, Cutler sliced and diced the Raiders defense, giving the Young Gunz the victory and the first helmet of the year. Both teams put up big points, but someone has to lose. The Gunz were led by an MVP performance by Turner. The Reggies did well for the Beans in a losing effort. |
