The Secane Tsunami defeated the Jelly Beans in the Cedar Ave Bowl. The Tsunami had a 4 pt. lead going into Monday. T.O. increased that lead quite a bit. L.J. also helped the Tsunami on to a victory. The Beans failed to have anyone score over 20. They did have a monster performance by Crumpler on the bench, that would have made a difference in the outcome of the game. |

The Black & Blue Attack kept a firm hold on first place by winning their second helmet against the Black Revenge in the semi-annual Black Bowl. The Attack has won 6 in a row; the Revenge has lost 5 in a row. McNabb, Gates and Wayne led the Attack. The Revenge only had Kitna on the bench over 20. |

The Good Fellas, Manning, Glenn and Feely overcame a 24 point lead against the Jail Birds and Toomer. The Fellas were led by Moss, Steve Smith and Manning. Brady and Harrison led the Jail Birds. In the end the Jail Birds lost by 10 and had plenty of points sitting on the bench. There were several lineup moves that could have halted the Jail Bird losing streak. But now it is at 5 and growing. |

The Dream Team, Julius Jones, the GIANTS and a 70 point lead were too much for the Body Shop, Bledsoe, Burress and Witten. Andre Johnson and the GIANTS led the Dream Team. Only Burress managed to clear 20 points for the Shop. It did not help the Shop that Bledsoe spent the 2nd half with a clipboard. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Quiet Storm and the M. Takers. Both teams went into the game 4-2, above the Elite Line and one game out of first place. One team was very likely to fall below that Elite Line. The M. Takers and Tiki Barber overcame an 11 point lead, the Storm and Vanderjagt. Barbers had a decent night, and he with Manning and Jackson led the Takers to victory. Palmer, Tomlinson and Westbrook put for the great effort to keep the Storm in the Elite, but they came up a few points short. There were several bench players that could have kept the Storm above the Elite Line, but the most glaring performance on the bench had to be the 49 point performance on the bench by Hines Ward. Which is worse getting a mediocre performance out of a highly drafted player or benching said highly drafted player when they decide to go off? I usually opt for the first to avoid the second. |
