The Secane Tsunami completed the season sweep of the Jail Birds. This would have been the Game of the Week except that I had already named the Game of the Week in the Pre-game Reviews. Interestingly, the Tsunami won both games by less than a total of 3 points. This neighborhood rivalry was as close as a 2-0 series can get. Bulger and Cotchery led the Tsunami. Harrison led the Jail Birds in defeat. Stallworth or Washington over Driver or Dunn would have given the Jail Birds the split and the ability to show their faces in Secane without shame. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Quiet Storm and the Black & Blue Attack. I gave this game the "GOW" honors because it was 1 vs. 2 (sort of an early mini-superbowl). The game like many Superbowls did not live up to the pre-game hype. The Quiet Storm avenged their early season loss to the Black & Blue Attack and climbed one game closer to the Title. The Storm was led by LT the TD machine. Any doubt about who is the number one pick next year, has been erased by a TD scoring streak that is unprecedented. The Black & Blue failed to have a starter break 20 points as they clearly did not show up with their "A" game. Their starters had trouble scoring points but they left a boat load of points on the bench. Bush, Norwood and Gates all cleared 20 points. Add in a Bruce start and the Attack might have wrapped up the title. |

The Jelly Beans, Delhome, EAGLES and a 2 point lead were too much for the GoodFellas and Steve Smith. Delhome and Houshmandzadeh helped the Jelly Breans avenge their early season loss to the Good Fellas. Eli was the only Fella's starter to clear 20 points. The Fellas could have completed the season sweep by making several changes in their lineup, of course that would have meant starting the CHIEFS double-bubble. |

The Dream Team completed the season sweep of the Black Revenge. Tory Holt was the only starter from either team to clear the 20 point barrier as this game was not exactly a point fest. The Revenge left a lot of points on the bench, but none of the moves would be enough to change the outcome. The Dream Team is still in third place, hoping one or both of the top teams hit a quick losing streak. |

The Body Shop avenged their early season loss to the M. Takers by capturing their 2nd helmet in a row. The Shop has won 4 of the last 5 and they are on a roll. The only question is; did the Shop start the roll too late? The Shop was led by the BEARS, Mason and Bryant. Manning led the Takers in the losing effort. The Takers only had one coaching mistake, but Moss over Galloway would have given the Takers the "W". |
