2005 Pre-Draft Meeting Atendees: Dream Team, Bull Dogs, M. Takers, Body Shop, Jelly Beans, Sharks and a representative of the Black Revenge, Black & Blue Attack, Good Fellas and Quiet Storm. Proposals: 1. Replace yardage bonuses with a 1 pt./10 yds Rushing/Receiving and 1 pt./30 yds passing. Proposition Failed: 4-5-1 2. Award 1 point per reception - all positions. Proposition Failed: 4-5-1 3. Reinstall Ties. Proposition Failed: 4-5-1 4. New Tiebreaker System: Use highest scoring starting player, if tie remains proceed to next highest scoring starter for each team. Continue comparing starters until tie is broken. If tie remains after all starters are exhausted, use bench points as a tie breaker. If bench points are tied the game is deemed a tie. Proposition Passed: 6-3-1 7. Slot Selection: When picking numbers you are not picking your draft position but are picking the order in which you pick the slot you want to draft from, (i.e.: You pick number 1: you get to pick any draft slot you want. You pick number 2, you pick from the 9 slots left after the number 1 pick has selected a slot, etc.). Proposition Failed: 4-6 8. Award 1 point per reception for Wide Receivers only. Proposition Passed: 7-2-1 *** Special Note: Michael Brown of the Black & Blue Attack believes this proposition will be repleaed within a year. *** After running some stats through the new scoring system, I agree. 9. Replace "Position Scoring" consolation prizes with a "Weekly Helmet" prize. The weekly consolation prize will be $10 for weeks 1-16. Week 17's "Helmet Prize" will be split between the top two scoring teams (67%-33%). The minimun prize for week 17 will be $20 and $10. To funded the minimum helmet prizes, 39 transactions will be required. If there are less than 39 transactions, the "Helmet" prize will be funded from the league pool. After 39 transactions, all other consolation prize money will go to the Week 17 Helmet prizes. Proposition Passed: 8-2 10. Reinstall Mutiple Sets. Proposition Failed: 4-6 11.
