The Jelly Beans, Tomlinson, Jeff Reed and a 24 point lead were more than enough to hold off the Dream Team and McCardell. The Beans were led by Brady and Fitzgerald as they gained sole possession of first place. The Beans seem to be getting used to those "Penthouse" digs. The Dream Team QB struggles continue and this week their WR's were a bit on the quiet side. Tatum Bell on their bench was far from silent. Who wants to make a bet that the Dream Team starts him next week and he has 4 carries for 9 yards and no TDs. |

The Body Shop won their third game in a row against the Secane Tsunami. The Shop was led by Bulger and Alexander and had Gates waiting in the wings on Monday. The Tsunami was led by Favre and Bennett in the loss. The Shop pulls keeps pace with most of the Elite Teams. The Tsunami joined the log jam at 2-3. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the M. Takers and the Good Fellas. The Takers and a 14 point lead were just barely enough to hold off the Good Fellas, Hines Ward and the CHARGERS on Monday Night. Now if Ward was not gimpy maybe this game may have gone another way. The Takers were led by Leftwich, Crumpler and bye week plug-in Davenport. The Fellas were led by Santana Moss and were left with yet another less than first round performance by Manning. Remember when the COLTS gave up points at an amazing clip, but scored them at an even quicker clip. As a Manning owner (in another league), I want the old COLTS back. Now who, besides Bubba, left the draft thinking the M. Takers might be competitive on the VIKINGS BYE week. I know I didn't - in fact I almost gave the Fellas a week 5 'W' right after the draft. I guess that is why we "Play the games", OK the NFL plays the games, but you know what I mean. |

The Black & Blue Attack won the first of the 2 annual "Black Bowls" against the Black Revenge, as the Revenge, Kaeding and the STEELERS could not overcome a 64 point lead. The Attack was led by the COLTS and Delhome. The Revenge failed to have any player score double digits on Sunday (which included 0's form their RB's and their QB). The Revenge Coach was heard to mention that he had a bad feeling going into this game. Worse than the loss, was the news out of San Antonio on Monday. |

The Bull Dogs scored their 2nd helmet of the year as they topped triple digits for the 2nd time this year in their contest with the Quiet Storm. The Storm tried to sure up their lineup with the acquisition of Joe Jurevicius (and the day late attempt at Davenport). If it is any consolation Storm, Davenport would not have changed the outcome of the game. The Bull Dogs did all that damage with only 6 points out of their QB and RB's. Yes, that point/reception has had little effect one the league. |
