SPOCK'S LOCKS FORMAT - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

In Week 10, the top few teams won and the bottom couple lost and there were a lot of mixed results in the middle. And thankfully the BYE weeks are finally over!! I have added a Free Agent List to the web site. I have also changed the NFL NewsFeed to ESPN. Send me any Comments on either.

If you need me to mail the Notes, give me a call, I think we can avoid the postage, one way or another, if not I will mail you a copy of the notes. It is cheaper and also much quicker to go electronic. The league's url is http://swffl.50megs.com .

Key Matchups to watch this Week

The M. Takers will try to avenge their Week 2 loss to the Quiet Storm. Both of these veteran teams are not where they expected to be at the beginning of the year. The Black & Blue Attack will try to complete the season sweep of the Jelly Beans in this huge match-up between the top two teams. The Dream Team will try to complete the season sweep against the Sharks. Both of these teams are in the Elite as well. The Good Fellas will try to avenge their loss to the Black Revenge in an early season shootout. Both these teams are hanging around the Elite Line. The Bull Dogs will try to complete the season sweep of the Body Shop. The Dogs are in that pack at .500, the Shop is not.

Spock was 4/5 this week and is 23/45 (51%) on the season. He regains top billing. Norm was 0/5 this week and is 25/45 (56%) on the season. His lines are (my estimates) below:

MT -1 QS (99)     GF -3 BR (97)
JB -2 BB(102)     BS -4 BD (95)
DT -8  S(108)

One game was over on Sunday. All of the others were pretty much over.

The Bull Dogs completed the season sweep of the Dream Team. It looked very different late Sunday afternoon, but Muhammad padded another score and a yardage bonus on top late in the game. That made the Dogs down by 8 with the Patriots Defense. Thanks to the horrible play by the BILLS Bledsoe and "Bledless" (or whatever his name was), the Bull Dogs pulled the game out. The worse thing about 5 point loses, is that is way too easy to second guess lineup decisions.

The Jelly Beans completed the season sweep of the M. Takers as Keyshawn Johnson could not over come a 38 pt. lead. Their first meeting was more interesting as we were forced to tiebreakers and both teams scored over 80. The Beans won this game with a bit more conviction as Favre and Vinatieri led the way. The Takers are having QB troubles again, and the question is, is it safe to play Vick again.

The Sharks avenged their early season loss to the Good Fellas as McNabb could not make up 57 points on Monday night. The big lead was sue in large part to Mr. Manning who seems to be set on breaking that Marino record. They also got a little here and there form other players. I bet the Fellas wished they could have played C-Mart over one of those WR's.

The Black Revenge completed the season sweep of the Body Shop as the COWBOYS could not make up 38 points on Monday night. The Revenge was led by Stokely, the STEELERS and Joe Horn. Speaking of Stokely, how does Manning throw 5 TD's and none are to Marvin. The Shop's running game was decent in the loss, but their wide-outs did not show up. The Revenge is hanging around the Elite Line and Shop is hanging around the basement.

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Quiet Storm and the Black & Blue Attack. The Black & Blue, Westbrook, Akers, EAGLES and a 26 point lead were too much for the Storm and Owens to overcome. The Attack was led by Culpepper who figured out how to throw TD's when "84" was in street clothes. The Storm managed no QB points on their whole roster (and they are carrying 4, granted one is injured). With the 'W' the Attack completed the season sweep of the Storm and kept pace with the Beans in the fight for the top stop. BTW, the only real close game was over on Sunday and had minor standings repercussions. This was a somewhat close game and involved a first place team, so I decided it was "GOW".

CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
Dream Team (Norm): Susicously Absent!!
Bull Dogs (John T.): "It's a Mushin weekend. Oh how sweep it is. Does anybody know the last time the Dream Team beat the Bulldogs?"
