The M. Takers split the season series with the Quiet Storm as they as their 13 point lead held up against the Storm Sunday night onslaught of David Carr, Andre Johnson and Ahman Green. Green's injury early in the first quarte r may have sealed the deal for the Takers. Carr passed for a TD and Johnson caught everything but a TD and managed a 6 point yardage bonus. In the end the Takers led by Vick, won by 1. |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Jelly Beans and the Black & Blue Attack. The Black & Blue and a 9 point lead were not enough against the Beans, Blaylock and Vinatieri. The Beans avoided the season sweep by the grace of the tiebreak and took sole possession of first place with the big "W". Could this be the year? The Beans had multiple players scoring in double-digits. The Black & Blue got a big game out Wayne, but a Moss-les s Daunte has not performed like a number one pick. Despite the stumble the Attack still has a decent shot at another title. I know there were a lot of tight scoring games, but a match up between the top two teams made this "GOW" before the first TD was sco red. The Tie-Break just sealed it. |

The Dream Team, Trent Green and 14 point lead were too much for the Sharks, Kennison and Dillon. The Dream Team completed the season sweep and moved into the Elite. The Dream Team was led by Pittman, the LIONS and Gates. The Sharks got a great game out of Manning and the SEAHAWKS, but the rest of the team came up small. |

The Black Revenge completed the season sweep against the Defending Champion Good Fellas. The Revenge was led by James, the STEELERS and Brooks. The Fellas were led by McNabb, Cahmbers and the PANTHERS in the losing effort. This also was at tight game decided by only 3 points. |

The Body Shop, Brady, Patten, Givens, Tynes and a 2 point lead were too much for the Bull Dogs and the PATRIOTS on Monday night. The Shop avoided the sweep by the Bull Dogs an were led by Rueben, Reuben, Reuben - oh sorry wrong guy. BTW, in answer to the Dogs question last week, the Dream Team beat the Dogs in Week 12 last year. The Dogs were led by Brees and Muhammad (both of whom seem to be on fire). |
