SPOCK'S LOCKS FORMAT - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

In week 10, 3 of the 4 Elite teams won. If you have given up on the Championship but hope to sneak into the Elite you were a Duce Staley fan on Monday. If you still had a shot at first place you were a "any one of the other 50 EAGLE RB" fans. If this confuses you see the "GOW". The dreaded BYEs are over that the Fantasy Football Gods!!

If you would still like the Notes mailed to you let me know and I will start mailing them out to you. It is cheaper and also much quicker to go electronic. The league's url is http://swffl.50megs.com .

Key Matchups to watch this Week

The Quiet Storm reached triple digits against the Black Revenge in Week 2. The Storm would love a repeat. The Revenge has been toying with their defense since week 2. The Black & Blue scored triple digits against the Bull Dogs in week 2. The Attack is not real comfortable in that 5th place spot. The Dogs are pretty much in a must win situation. The Dream Team just missed triple digits against the Good Fellas in week 2. The Fellas have been on fire since and the Dream Team ran into a 3 game losing streak after that "W". The Body Shop squeaked one out against the Jelly beans in week 2. The Shop has done very well since. The Beans have been slowly creeping up on that Elite Line. The Sharks handed the M. Takers their first loss in Week 2. The Sharks have only won one since and have spent much of the rest of the year near or in the basement. The Takers have spent much of the year in the Elite and have even spent a week or two in the penthouse.

Spock was 3/5 making him 20/45 (44%) on the season. He regains top billing. Norm was 2/5 this week making him 21/45 (47%) on the season. His lines (actually my estimates) are below:

BR -2 QS (96)     JB -3 BS (99)
BD -1 BB (97)      S -4 MT (98)
DT -6 GF(108)

Four games were officially over on Sunday. The other one were still up in the air.

The Black Revenge led by Tomlinson, Maddox and S Moss, completed the season sweep of the Bull Dogs. Faulk's return to the Bull Dog lineup provided a spark, but not enough as the Bull Dogs lost the game of QB roulette this week. Wilkins had a nice game in the losing effort for the Dogs.

The Quiet Storm completed the season sweep against the Black & Blue Attack. The Storm was led by Pennington, Coles, Kasay and the RAVENS (in more ways than one). The RAVENS put 12 points up on the scoreboard for the Storm and were instrumental in the goose egg Bulger put up. The 21 points out of the TITANs were wasted in the losing effort. The Storm (in combination with the Taker loss) regains that all important first place. The Attack is getting cold sitting just out of the Elite.

The Dream Team avenged their week 1 loss to the Jelly Beans. The Dream Team was led by "CHIEFS" as 51 of their points came from Trent, Priest and Morton. Collins did an imitation of McNabb and the Beans lost, despite a big 28 from the RAMS.

The Good Fellas completed the season sweep of the Sharks as Donald Driver could nor overcome a 52 point lead, Favre, Ahman and Longwell on Monday Night. The Fellas were led by Taylor and last second sub Moe Williams who both topped 20 points, with Green's Monday night the Fella's running game scored 80 points. The Sharks were unable to get anyone in double digits. It is looking bad for the Sharks. The Fellas are in the mix for a Championship. All I can say is "Tim Dwight!!!"

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the M. Takers and the Body Shop. As you may recall these two teams made a gentleman's agreement that would ensure they both wound up with a premier Double Bubble. In the first "Bubble Bowl", the Purple Bubble soared and the Horseshoe bubble got blanked. This week in "Bubble Bowl II", the Purple Bubble still blew the Colts Double Bubble away, but the Shop has actually put some players around their bubble. Hines Ward is OK, if all you want out of a WR is a score or 2 a week and an occasional 100 yard game (LOL). Also, Rudi (Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! - couldn't resist) Johnson has helped the last couple of weeks. With Dillon in the Doghouse the Shop may be chanting Rudi all the way to the bank. The Takers got humungous points out of Culpepper to Moss, but the rest of the roster came up shy. Staley could not make up the 6 points on Monday, but where was the rest of the team. Even Janikowski came up small in a big game.

CHATTERBOX:(Get Quotes in by Monday Night)
Dream Team (Norm): Susicously Absent!!
Bull Dogs (John T.): "Finally a Marshall sighting. My team still sucks."
