The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Sharks and the Black Revenge. The Sharks and Revenge lit up the scoreboard like a pinball machine. The Sharks carried a 2 point lead into Monday and still had Gannon and Gonzales left. Henry, Owens and Steve Smith each put up 21 points on the board. The Revenge had the misfortune of playing one of the few teams that would have beaten this week. The Revenge also had a truck lo ad of bench points. Perhaps the only thing worse than playing the helmet team, is having more than enough points on the bench too get the helmet yourselves. The Pre-Game Hype:The Black Revenge and Sharks meet up in week 7. The Revenge has lost 2 in a row and went from the doorstep to the Elite to the doorstep to the cellar. The Sharks are looking to get out of the cellar. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black Revenge 47 Sharks 50 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Body Shop and a 30 point lead were too much for the Bull Dogs, Garner and the CHIEFS. The Shop had go deep into the bench as they lost their Colt double-bubble and Hines Ward. Quicy Carter came up huge and Hambrick even tossed in a TD. The Bull Dogs hit the waiver wire with Carr over starting Ramsey. Turns out they would have been better standing pat. Other than that there were an awful lot of zeros on that roster listing. The Pre-Game Hype:The Body Shop is clinging to that Elite slot, this week they get the Bull Dogs. The Shop loses their first 3 picks to the dreaded BYE. The Dogs need the "W" after the heart breaking loss on Monday. The Predictions/History: Spock: Body Shop 52 Bull Dogs 42 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Black & Blue and a 29 point lead were too much for the Dream Team, Holmes and Morton. Bulger and the TITANS led the Black & Blue. It is becoming more and more obvious that there was a reason why Bledsoe was available so late in the draft. Akers was a great kicker because the EAGLEs used to drive the ball and quite often would have to settle for 3, that does not seem to be the case in 2003. The Pre-Game Hype:The Dream Team and Black & Blue meet in a match between teams that have held the trophy 5 out of the last 6 years. The Attack is on pace to vie for another year with the trophy. The Dream Team has gotten of to a slow start, but they showed some life with a helmet in Week 6. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black & Blue 62 Dream Team 52 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Good Fellas knocked off the Jelly Beans. The Fellas Packer "modified" Double-Bubble is doing almost as well as the other "big" double bubbles (and it was cheaper), although this week there was nary a zero in their starting lineup. The Beans got nice games out of Holt and Alexander, but the QB position still seems to be a problem. The Pre-Game Hype:The Good Fellas and Jelly Beans meet in a family affair. The youngsters have been hot lately, but the cagey old Veterans may have something up their sleeve(like that Monday night finish). The Predictions/History: Spock: Good Fellas 52 Jelly Beans 47 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The M. Takers bounced back on the 'W' train with a win over the Quiet Storm. The VIKINGS led the Takers; in fact on Sunday the only Takers to score were VIKINGS. With my record, I am in no position to second-guess anyone. I can say that there were an awful lot of points on the Storm bench. In a curious coincidence, the Storms 38 points matched their Coaching efficiency. It is never good when your best possible lineup is almost 100 and your actual lineup is less than 40. The Pre-Game Hype:The final game is a contest between two Elite Teams. The Storm's running game meets the M. Takers "Purple Bubble". The Predictions/History: Spock: Quiet Storm 51 M. Takers 48 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |
