The Black Revenge completed the season sweep of the Body Shop. The Revenge jumped ahead of the Shop (and over the Elite Line) last week. This week they made sure it stayed that way. The Revenge finished the season with a 3 game winning streak. L.T.2 led the way for the Revenge. The Shop joined the other Double-Bubble Team in a season-end swoon. In the end they both had the same record, but the Shop finished out of the Elite by 66 points. Manning and Ward led the S hop in the losing effort. |

The Dream Team completed the season sweep of the Quiet Storm (wow we swept an Elite team!!). The Dream Team and Sharks both faced over 1,000 points on the season. The Dream Team (2nd in scoring) was only able to translate that combination into 7 wins. The Storm had a chance for the Title. They needed to win and needed the Fellas to lose. Neither occurred and the Storm has to settle for 2nd place. Hassleback and the Ravens did a nice job for the Storm in the loss.< /P> |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Good Fellas and the Black & Blue Attack. The Fellas completed the season sweep of the defending Champion Black & Blue Attack. Although, the Attack's championship hopes died off weeks ago, they still had an outside chance at an Elite spot with a win and some help. They got the help but came up short on the "W". It was unfortunate as they faced the helmet team and the Attack was the 2nd hig hest scoring team this week (don't you just hate when that happens!!!). Fortunately for the Attack sometimes coming close counts in things other than horseshoes and hand grenades. The Attack won one of the final week consolation prizes. The other final w eek consolation prize winner was the Good Fellas, who grabbed the whole ball of wax with all the hardware ("Golden" Helmet and the "Trophy"). The Fellas led the league in scoring (unlike that year where they lost the Championship on Monday night, a couple of years back). The Fellas won the thing with a Great draft. It had to be a great draft because they made absolutely no transactions during the year (Bull Dogs and Body Shop are you paying attention). That in itself is amazing. Green and the PANTH ERS led the Fellas in their season-ending explosion. The Attack tried to keep pace with several players in double digits. Neither QB lit up the scoreboard, but there were plenty of RB points to go around. |

The Jelly Beans swept both ends of the Cedar Lane bowl. The Beans were led by McNabb. One wonders what the Beans might have done if Donovan played this well all year. The Sharks finished up the year with the worst performance of the year (actually they tied the Shop's pathetic week 1 output). As I stated before the Sharks faced a 1,000 points this year. They also scored the lowest amount of points. This combination leads to a cellar slot almost every time. |

The Bull Dogs fresh off knocking the Shop out of the Elite, nearly did the same to the M. Takers as they avenged their week 8 loss. The Bull Dogs put up a big 22 on Saturday with the PATRIOTS. The Takers managed 0's out of Staley and Antwoin Smith. One wonders if the early hole forced the Takers into taking some chances on their Sunday lineup. The Kelly Campbell start leads me to believe the Takers felt compelled to put in a lineup that had long strike chances. That is why m ore reliable options like C-Mart and Price were passed over. The Takers managed to hold on to that final spot despite the loss. Truth is the Revenge's "W" was going to keep the Takers in fourth whether they won or lost. |
