The Dream Team defeated the Jelly Beans when Lindell and Jackson could not overcome a 42 point lead on Monday night. The Dream Team was led by a fine running game and was really helped by the schedule makers as the Beans were severely hit by the BYE this week. Brunnel's concussion also helped.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Dream Team & Norm try it against an older relative (& son) after getting spanked by the youngsters. The Beans are hit hard by the bye this week, so they will be handicapped.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Dream Team    53      Jelly Beans   48
Spock:   Dream Team    55      Jelly Beans   50

The M. Takers let the Good Fellas have it big time as they finally put up some big points. Jose Cortes could not overcome Owens and a 110 point lead. The Takers got 25+ points out of Culpepper, Bettis and Elam. The Good Fellas can't seem to manage to get their starting QB going.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Good Fellas will try to notch their 2nd 'W' against the M. Takers. The Takers are smack in the middle of that have/have-not line, and they definitely one to move in the have area.

The Predictions/History:

  Norm:    Good Fellas   49      M. Takers     47
  Spock:   M. Takers     39      Good Fellas   38

The Sharks handed the Body Shop their first 'L' of the year, and they still had Garcia in their back pocket on Monday. The Sharks got a big game out of Vanderjagt and then everybody else chipped in a bit. The Shop got nice pr oduction despite the 'L'. Would have been a much more interesting if Casey would have started the COWPOKE double-bubble in honor of his visit to Dallas. Carter outscored Bledsoe and Bryant outscored 2 of the Shop starting WRs. All I can say, is way to go Bone. We can't have Casey come back from a long layoff and just walk away with the trophy. You'll have to work a little to get it on your mantle Shop.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Sharks will try to knock off the undefeated Body Shop. The Shop is just sitting back and enjoying this little venture back into the action.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Sharks        48      Body Shop     44
Spock:   Body Shop     63      Sharks        42

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between Black & Blue Attack and the Bull Dogs. Is it just me or have the Attack showing up in the "GOW" every week? The Attack did not score as much as the last 2 weeks, just enough to win. The Attack pulled it out on Monday Night as Alexander overcame a 4 point lead by the Bull Dogs. The Black & Blue got double-digit production out of Gannon, Tomlinson and Peterson, nothing like the last couple of weeks, but enough to grab first place. Favre and Williams led the Dogs. The Dogs have lost three times to current Elite teams and have dropped out of the Elite for the first time. You have to beat the good teams to win the Championship.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Bull Dogs and Black & Blue Attack meet up in a battle of two Elite Teams. This game features 2 fine running games and the QB's are not that bad either.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Black & Blue    47      Bull Dogs     44
Spock:   Black & Blue    63      Bull Dogs     52

The Black Revenge defeated the Quiet Storm in a tight one featuring former partners. The Revenge pulled it out on Sunday by answering Griese's 12 4th quarter points with a Portis combined yardage bonus and nudged the Revenge past the Storm by 1 point. Unfortunately for the Storm, they were unaware that the "Casey" effect was in play in Dallas and missed out on the Galloway 18. The Revenge had good days from Brooks and Lewis.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Quiet Storm will try get back on the winning track against the Black Revenge in a battle of former partners. Should be an interesting matchup with definite Elite Line implications.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Black Revenge 49      Quiet Storm   48
Spock:   Quiet Storm   57      Black Revenge 48
