The Black Revenge kept there heads above the Elite Line by defeating the Jelly Beans. The Beans and Faulk could not overcome the RAMS and a 22 point deficit. The Beans actually looked OK late Sunday, until Jimmy Stewart grabbed a short pass and did his best Barry Sanders impersonation. Fine games out of both QB's, neither deserved the 'L'. The Beans lose to the helmet team for 2nd week ina row.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black Revenge and Jelly Beans will meet up in a contest of 1-1 teams. The Beans and Marshall are the only ones not suffering from the RAM brown-out. Moss has been pretty consistent this year for the Revenge.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Jelly Beans   46      Black Revenge 45
Spock:   Black Revenge 51      Jelly Beans   49

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between Black & Blue Attack and the Good Fellas. Keyshawn Johnson and a 31 point lead were just too much for the RAM triple ripple to overcome (at least the 2002 version of the RAM triple ripple). Brady is looking better all the time. The Black & Blue were led by a bye week plug-in (McNair) and a bye-week pickup (Feely). May all our bye week solutions work out that well.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black & Blue Attack are going for the Staley trifecta, beating Dad in Week 2 and facing the youngsters this week. The Fellas have brought into the RAMS large and this year that seems to be a bad move so far.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Good Fellas   48      Black & Blue  45
Spock:   Black & Blue  42      Good Fellas   28

The Body Shop remains undefeated and on top of the standings by beating on an old-time rival in the M. Takers. The Shop had to rely on a decent kicking game (which had been missing up until this week). Conversely the Takers kicking game came up small. Neither QB was particularly spectacular. The Takers got a couple of big plays out of Smith and Owens. Both Teams had plenty of bench points doing nothing (Coaching efficiencies running at 60%). Wasn't the re some guarantee mad here by someone? Where do I collect my refund on the guarantee?

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Body Shop takes on the M. Takers in a matchup of Freddy Flinstone Teams. The Shop is flying high and the Takers are fresh off a disappointing loss in this battle of grizzled veteran teams.

The Predictions/History:

  Norm:    M. Takers     46      Body Shop     43
  Spock:   Body Shop     60      M. Takers     47

The Bull Dogs swam through the Sharks OK, in fact it was the Sharks that got bitten. The Dogs were led by Favre and Ricky Williams (OK maybe pre-season doesn't mean anything). The Sharks had a tough road to hoe, before Garcia left the game early. Garcia's exit made it academic. Favre put up a great game after last week's rather surprising benching. Methinks Favre's next and final benching will be the PACKERS bye week.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Bull Dogs will try and doggy-paddle through the Sharks and recover from the shocking loss on Monday night. The Sharks are getting the feeding frenzy going early, as there is a whole world of difference between 2-1 and 1-2 .

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Sharks        49      Bull Dogs     38
Spock:   Bull Dogs     53      Sharks        47

The Quiet Storm remained undefeated by kicking the Dream Team when they were down and winless as Proehl and Wilkins could not overcome Pittman, Gramtica and a 15 pt. lead. Priest Holmes, who seems to score in bunches then take a week off, led the Storm. The Dream Team is only happy that the George benching did not cost them the game. The Dream Team front office has promised immediate results or heads may roll!!

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Quiet Storm and Dream Team go to battle in a matchup of teams who have held the trophy 5 out of the last 8 years. The Storm is undefeated. The Dream Teams needs a 'W' desperately.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Dream Team    55      Quiet Storm   48
