The Jelly Beans avoided the Body Shop sweep. The Beans win can almost be totally attributed to the gutsy performance by Donovan McNabb. Unfortunately the Beans will have to finish the season with someone else at the helm. In the losing effort, the Shop got a little scoring from many places, but nobody topped double digits.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Jelly Beans will try to avenge their week 2 loss to the Body Shop. The Week 2 matchup was a barn-burner that seemed to bede well for both teams. The Beans never got over the loss and the Shop has been in contention all year.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Jelly Beans   48      Body Shop     46
Spock:   Body Shop     66      Jelly Beans   48

Week 2:   Body Shop     74      Jelly Beans   61

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Black Revenge and the Good Fellas. The Black Revenge/Thomas and Good Fellas/Bruce went into Monday tied, due mainly to the truck full of zeros the Fellas put up on Sunday night. Hines Ward who might have finally landed a permanent slot in the Fellas lineup led the Fellas. The Revenge had a bit more balanced scoring and was led by Brooks and Moss. Thomas gave the Revenge the early lead with a 7. Bruce tacked on a 6 point yardage bonus and missed another 3 by 9 yards.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Revenge will try to complete the sweep of the Good Fellas. The Revenge is trying to climb back over that Elite Line. The Fellas after a little streak and the Elite Line sinking are actually only a couple games out even though they are still in the basement.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Good Fellas   49      Black Revenge 46
Spock:   Black Revenge 49      Good Fellas   47

Week 2:   Black Revenge 40      Good Fellas   20

The Black & Blue completed the season sweep as Wilkins could not overcome a 7-point lead. Driver led the Attack, which came very close to wrapping it up on Sunday night as Gannon fell just short of 300 yards and came very close to tossing a TD several times. The Dream Team was led by Manning and a finally a decent game by George. It was nice to see Smith and Smith get back on the board again. Of course the Dream Team could have coasted to the win if they had started the PAT RIOTS special teams instead of the BUCCANEERS.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black & Blue will try to sweep the Dream Team and hope the Beans knock off the Body Shop. The Dream Team, despite a 3 game losing streak is still not any farther out of the Elite.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Dream Team    54      Black & Blue  48
Spock:   Black & Blue  59      Dream Team    42

 Week 2:   Black & Blue  39      Dream Team    32

The Sharks completed the sweep of the M. Takers in a real shootout involving two run and shoot lineups. The Culpepper/Owens vs. Garcia/Harrison match-up was a virtual push. Neither RB did anything and the difference came down to the Sharks other WRs outperforming the Takers other WR's. The Takers could have grabbed the 'W' with a Vick start and a Bennett start. Neither of these scenarios were necessarily out of the realm of possibility given the performances of Culpepper and Bennet in recent weeks.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The M. Takers will try to avenge their week 2 loss to the Sharks and keep a hold on that last Elite spot. The Sharks are lurking and with some help could jump up into the Elite.

The Predictions/History:

  Norm:    Sharks        46      M. Takers     45
  Spock:   M. Takers     50      Sharks        41

 Week 2:   Sharks        43      M. Takers     35

The Bull Dogs avoided the Quiet Storm sweep. Favre and Williams led the Dogs. The Storm was hurt by an early exit by Griese. Luckily for the Storm, Pennington seems to be performing well and should fill in nicely.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Quiet Storm will try to keep it a 3 team race for the trophy by sweeping the Bull Dogs. The Dogs sure would like to avenge that early 1 point loss.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Quiet Storm   50      Bull Dogs     47
