The Good Fellas avenged their week 1 loss to the Jelly Beans. The Fellas were led Brady and Ward and despite the big point total left a truck load of points on the bench as Bulger, Bruce and Vinatieri went off. The Beans were hurt by poor outings by the usually reliable duo of McNabb and Faulk.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Jelly Beans will try to sweep the Good Fellas as this Family Feud gets fired up again in Week 10. The Fellas are fresh off a helmet and they know how the Beans have been when running up against helmet teams.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Good Fellas   46      Jelly Beans   45
Spock:   Jelly Beans   50      Good Fellas   47

Week 1:   Jelly Beans   52      Good Fellas   38

The Body Shop stayed in the race for the Championship by putting up triple-digits against the Black Revenge (a lot more comfortable than last week). The Shop was led by the just acquired MVP of the week Tommy Maddox. Warrick Dunn put up a long run too. The Revenge suffered from QB-goose-eggus and first-rounder-goose-eggus as well.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black Revenge will try to avenge their week 1 loss to the Body Shop. The Shop is coming off a cardiac win last week, and the Revenge lost to an old time rival.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Black Revenge 50      Body Shop     47
Spock:   Body Shop     58      Black Revenge 51

Week 1:   Body Shop     64      Black Revenge 53

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Black & Blue Attack and the M. Takers. The Attack avenged their week 1 loss to the Takers as Gannon, Porter, the BRONOCS and a 13 point lead were too much for the Takers, McCaffrey and Elam. The Attack got balance scoring as every player on Sunday put up points. The Takers got all their Sunday points from Bennett. It is not often that a team goes up against a 20 point run and foes into Mo nday with a lead and their QB to come. Now that the VIKES have benched Daunte maybe the Takers will follow suit.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black & Blue Attack will try to avenge one of its 2 first half losses against the M. Takers. This is a battle of current Elite teams and as always has the former partners backdrop to play on.

The Predictions/History:

  Norm:    M. Takers     49      Black & Blue  45
  Spock:   Black & Blue  52      M. Takers     50

 Week 1:   M. Takers     40      Black & Blue  38

The Bull Dogs completed the season sweep of the Dream Team. The Dream Team (and I take the blame for this one) over-analyzed and benched Manning vs. the EAGLES in favor of Collins vs. the VIKINGS. The mistake (luckily for me) was not the difference in the game. The Bull Dogs were happy to stop the bleeding and put up some points this week.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Dream Team will try to avenge their 1-point loss to the Bull Dogs in week 1. The Dogs are in a free-fall and the Dream Team is trying to get over the events of Monday night.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Dream Team    53      Bull Dogs     47
Spock:   Dream Team    47      Bull Dogs     43

The Quiet Storm completed the season sweep of the Sharks as Griese, the RAIDERS and a 31 point lead were too much for the Sharks and Rice to overcome on Monday. The Storm got a 6, 7 or 8 out of every Sunday player but Burress who threw up a 36. The Sharks really only got production out of Harrison.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Quiet Storm would like to keep those championship hopes alive with a repeat of their week 1 drubbing of the Sharks. The Sharks continue to hover just under the Elite Line.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Sharks        51      Quiet Storm   48
Spock:   Quiet Storm   54      Sharks        45

 Week 1:   Quiet Storm   65      Sharks        33
