The Jelly Beans ended their losing streak against the Hammer Heads who had a streak of their own end. The Heads had scored 2 helmets in a row, but with only Bettis and a 37 point deficit on Monday night, that streak did not have a chance to survive. Griese and Horn led the Beans who were also happy to see another 6 out of Moss. The Pre-Game Hype:The Jelly Beans are at the bottom of the pack and if that isn't bad enough, they draw the red hot Hammer Heads this week. The Heads are fresh off giving the first place team their first loss and their second stra ight helmet. The Predictions/History: Spock: Hammer Heads 49 Jelly Beans 39 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Dream Team and the Black 7 Blue Attack. It wasn't the closest game of the week, but it did involve 2 elite teams. The Dream was led by Warner and Rod Smith while the Black & Blue was led by Manning and Carney. The Dream Team recovered from their first loss of the year, while the Black and Blue has now lost 2 in a row and has gone from battling for a tie for first place to bare ly holding on to the final elite spot. The Pre-Game Hype:The Dream Team will take on the Black & Blue Attack in a battle between the first and second place teams. Both teams are coming off big-time losses. The Predictions/History: Spock: Dream Team 60 Black & Blue 56 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Quiet Storm defeated the Black Revenge in a battle of ex-partners. The Storm came out on top of this one as both teams put up big time numbers. The Revenge probably can lay the blame on Rich Gannon's goose-egg. The Storm finds itself alone in 2nd place with a chance of moving up this week. The Pre-Game Hype:The Quiet Storm and Black Revenge will meet again in a battle between former partners. Both teams are in the Money and the winner will go a long way to ensuring a good season for their team. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black Revenge 46 Quiet Storm 44 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Bull Dogs defeated the Good Fellas this week. This game had a lot going on in it. There was the controversial Bruce-A-Train trade-no-trade. There was the battle of former partners. There was the Bull Dogs r ecent revival vs. the Good Fellas free-fall. The Good Fellas and the TITANS could not overcome a 15 point lead on Monday night. Incidentally, the players in the aborted trade had 31 points between them. The Pre-Game Hype:The Good Fellas and Bull Dogs contest also features former partners (wow the SWFFL is just full of inbreeding). The Dogs have won 2 of their last 3 and are climbing up from the bottom. The Fellas have lost 3 in a row after a 3-0 start. The Predictions/History: Spock: Good Fellas 48 Bull Dogs 42 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |
