The Jelly Beans completed the Season sweep of the M. Takers as Moss, Taylor and Stover overcame the Takers, VIKINGS and an 8 pt. lead. It was very hard not to give this "GOW" honors, but basically these 2 teams were locked in 2nd and third and really could not move. Kind of like the EAGLES-BUCS game. The Beans were led by the 1-2 punch of Green and Holmes. For the Takers, Garcia put up good numbers but Faulk only had an 11. That is how good Faulk is - an 11 point game is disappointing.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The M. Takers will try to avenge their Week 11 loss to the Jelly Beans. It is a shame that the point difference is so big, would love to see a game that would decide 2nd place.

The Predictions/History:

  Norm:    Jelly Beans   46      M. Takers     45
  Spock:   M. Takers     52      Jelly Beans   50

 Week 11:  Jelly Beans   69      M. Takers     64

The Dream Team completed the sweep of the Good Fellas won the "Golden Helmet" to place next to the their Championship. Fourteen wins in a season is the most recorded since I have been Commissioner. I think that first Black Assassin team had a good record but I don't remember what it was. Mason and Warner led the Dream Team. The Good Fellas got nice performances out of Collins and Thomas in the losing effort.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Dream Team will try to sweep the Good Fellas. Two years ago Norm and his son had a similar match-up the last week to decide the Championship (Thanks again Tim Dwight). I for one am quite glad those kinds of cardiatrics won't be necessary this year (cardiatrics - hey I like that word even if it isn't real).

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Dream Team    53      Good Fellas   51
Spock:   Dream Team    55      Good Fellas   45

Week 11:  Dream Team    58      Good Fellas   39

The Black and Blue Attack, Bennett and a 30 point lead were too much for the Hammer Heads and Carter to overcome. The Black and Blue avenged their early season loss and finished up in 5th, so close yet so far. The Attack was led by Owens and Manning. The Attack running game cost it a Elite spot as they finished with the 3rd best QB, 2 top 5 WR's and a top 5 PK.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Hammer Heads will try to complete the sweep of the Black & Blue Attack and finish on the winning note. If it wasn't for the Storm playing the Sharks, the Attack would still be alive for that final Elite spot.

The Predictions/History:

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the contest between the Sharks and the Quiet Storm. This game had all the makings of an extraordinary game with the final Elite spot on the line. Unfortunately only one team showed up. The Sharks completed the season sweep and secured the final Elite spot. The Sharks were led by Favre and Vandy. The Storm did not manage to break double digits.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Sharks will try to complete the sweep of the Quiet Storm and return to the Elite after a 1 year absence. The Storm would like to take that 4th spot. Guess what game will be "GOW" next week.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Sharks        47      Quiet Storm   45
Spock:   Quiet Storm   45      Sharks        42

The Black Revenge completed the season sweep of the Bull Dogs. The Revenge was led by 20+ point games out of Alexander and Owens. The Bull Dogs failed to call in a lineup, so they wound up with Doug Flutie tossing back brewskies in front of his TV instead of tossing TDs. I know it is hard to stay in the game when you are locked in the basement, but the last Week is one week where everyone should be interested and not just for the consolation prizes, although they should be enough. If I was in contention with the Revenge for a Elite spot, I would be angry that he was going up against a team without a QB or PK.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black Revenge will try to complete the season sweep of the Bull Dogs. The Dogs low point total has pretty much locked them in the basement, although a Hammer Heads loss and a real points explosion could give them an escape hatch.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Black Revenge 52      Bull Dogs     45
Spock:   Black Revenge 50      Bull Dogs     46

Week 11:  Black Revenge 63      Bull Dogs     52
