The Sharks won their 2nd in a row against the M. Takers. The Sharks got big games out of their RB position, which was needed since Warner finished with single digits for the first time ever. It was an expensive vi ctory as the Sharks lost Warner's services for 4 to 6 weeks. The Takers scored 69 points, held Warner to 6 points and still lost. Sometimes it is just not your year. The Sharks were led by Williams and Wheatley. So who lit the fire under Rick Williams? The Pre-Game Hype:The Sharks take on M. Takers in a battle of 2-5 teams. The Sharks and Warner make them one of the most dangerous 2-5 teams ever. The Takers have been building momentum and now have won 2 in a row and even managed to grab a helmet after starting off the season with 3 straight "low-scorer" marks. The Predictions/History: Spock: Sharks 49 M. Takers 45 Norm's Lines guesstimated by Butch, Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Black Revenge continued their winning ways against the Hammer Heads and still only has one blemish on their record. The Revenge was led by Griese and Harrison. The Heads got goose-eggs from their running game and the loss can probably be directly blamed on that. The Pre-Game Hype:The Black Revenge will try to hold on to the number 1 slot this week against the Hammer Heads. The Revenge seems to be putting all together this year. The Heads are lurking on the fringes, looking for an opening . The Predictions/History: Spock: Black Revenge 62 Hammer Heads 45 Norm's Lines guesstimated by Butch, Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Dream Team defeated the high-scoring Quiet Storm. The Dream Team suffered through their 4th straight 0 at the QB position. Despite the 0's they are 3-1 in that stretch, go figure. The Storm scored under 40 fo r the first time this year. Of course they would not have lost and would have probably scored yet another helmet if they had started Dillon and his 50 pts. The Pre-Game Hype:The Quiet Storm will try to get back on the winning track against the defending champion Dream Team. The Dream Team also had a nice winning streak snapped. The Predictions/History: Spock: Quiet Storm 62 Dream Team 50 Norm's Lines guesstimated by Butch, Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the match between the Bull Dogs and Mac Attack. The Mac Attack, Mare and a 9 pt lead were too much for the Bull Dogs and C-Mart. The Dogs took a big lead early with a 23 on Thursday by Gramatica. The Attack chipped away and took the lead with double-digit scoring from 5 players. The Dogs got a nice game out of Beuerlein but ere hurt by an injury to Eddie Gorge. The Pre-Game Hype:The Bull Dogs and Mac Attack square off, with the Dogs looking to jump in the top slot and the Attack trying to hold on to that final Elite spot. The Predictions/History: Spock: Bull Dogs 55 Mac Attack 42 Norm's Lines guesstimated by Butch, Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Black & Blue Attack ended their 4 game losing streak against the Jelly Beans. The Beans have now lost 6 on a row. The Black and Blue were led by an MVP performance by Albert Connell. Connell had been relatively quiet this year, but he earned his keep this week. The Beans had a decent ground attack, but their aerial attack was non-existent. The Pre-Game Hype:The Jelly Beans and Black & Blue Attack contest features 2 teams both on long losing streaks after fairly good starts. The Black & Blue impression of the 99 Bulldogs has failed and the Beans are still trying to r ecover from their Week 3 battle for first place with the Quiet Storm. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black & Blue 49 Jelly Beans 46 Norm's Lines guesstimated by Butch, Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |
