The Sharks and a 48 pt lead were too much for the Black Revenge and Marvin Harrison to overcome. The Sharks gas been putting up numbers in bunches despite only getting their first "W" this week. The Sharks were led by probable league MVP Warner. The Revenge had some nice scoring but once Warner started playing pinball with the scoreboard it was over. The Pre-Game Hype:The Sharks are still looking for their first 'W' and this week they go against the Black Revenge, yet another Elite Team. Bone fear not eventually you get to play the Dream Team and M. Takers. The Revenge will try to keep 1st pla ce after dodging the Conway bullet in DC. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black Revenge 64 Sharks 39 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Hammer Heads, Manning, Lindsey, the JAGUARS and a 15 pt lead were too much for the Beans, James and Smith. The Heads built their early lead on the legs of Jamal Lewis. The Beans sort of OC'ed (over CARDINALed). The Pre-Game Hype:The Beans will take on the Hammer Heads this week in yet another game with family impact. The Heads will try to continue their alternating win-loss pattern for this week. The Beans will try to get back on the winning track after the disappointing loss, in which their kicker watched the game from the sidelines. The Predictions/History: Spock: Jelly Beans 65 Hammer Heads 42 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Quiet Storm squeaked by the Mac Attack in the only early finish. The Storm was led by McNown, Stover and the RAVENS. The Mac Attack is still reaping the rewards of the big trade as Bruce led the team in scoring. The Attack needed another 3 yards from their MVP to get them the "W" or some help at the other positions. Three yards between a "W" and "L", if there weren't some good Monday night battles this could have been "GOW". The Pre-Game Hype:The Mac Attack takes on the Quiet Storm in week 4. The Attack is fresh off a victory in which they proved, they will not always get burned by the "Blockbuster" deal. The Storm recovered from their slip last week and is now waitin g for some of the other teams to slip up also. The Predictions/History: Spock: Quiet Storm 50 Mac Attack 48 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the match between the Dream Team and M. Takers. The Takers and COLTS had an 18 pt lead against the Dream Team, Brunell and Vanderjagt. By the 3rd quarter the Dream Team took a 2 pt. lead. At the end of the 3rd the Takers took a 3 pt lead on a safety. Five minutes in Vanderjagt tied it back up, but the Takers held the tiebreaker. Two extra-points late in the 4th sealed the victory for the Dream Team. This was an exciting finish despite the poor records of the teams involved and some bad coaching moves on both teams. There was no way either of these teams was winning easy. The Pre-Game Hype:The Dream Team and M. Takers square off in a "Football Central" battle of the inept. The Takers perpetual poor performances are the only thing keeping the defending Champs out of the basement. The Predictions/History: Spock: Dream Team 32 M. Takers 31 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Bull Dogs, McCardell and 34 pt lead were too much for the Black & Blue Attack and Taylor on Monday. The Bull Dogs were not about to be beaten by the same tricks they used last year that almost gained them a title. The Black & Blue are still in search of a RB they know will play each week. The Pre-Game Hype:This week the Bull Dogs will take on the Black & Blue Attack. This one is interesting because the Black and Blue are doing a great impression of the 99 Bull Dogs. They are winning despite having a very low point total. The Dogs are scoring a lot more points this year and winning in the more conventional way. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black & Blue 42 Bull Dogs 39 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |
