The Bull Dogs completed the Season sweep of the Sharks and jumped back up into the Elite. The Sharks have been eliminated and must play spoiler from this point on. The Bull Dogs were led by a monster game by Dunn (who they started in place of C-Mart who also put up some pretty good numbers) The Sharks were unhappy to get a goose-egg out of Warner. I did not think it was possible for him to play a whole game and do that. The Pre-Game Hype:The Sharks take on the Bulldogs in repeat of their week 5 match-up. The Sharks are playing to avoid the basement. The Bulldogs still have a serious chance to jump back up in the Elite. On a side note, the Sharks are looking forward to possibly getting Super-Kurt back this week. The Predictions/History: Spock: Bull Dogs 54 Sharks 47 Week 5: Bull Dogs 47 Sharks 41 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Dream Team completed the season sweep of the Jelly Beans, climbed up to 500 and is still alive for a Elite spot. The Dream team got nice games out of Brunell & Rice after a disappointing game by Moss on Thursday. The Beans suffered from yet another poor performance at QB. The Pre-Game Hype:The Dream Team will try to keep their slim Monday hopes alive by repeating their early season win over the Jelly Beans. The Beans are playing to stay out of the basement and for family pride. The Predictions/History: Spock: Dream Team 57 Jelly Beans 46 Week 5: Dream Team 64 Jelly Beans 37 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Hammer Heads, Alexander, Glenn and a 54 point lead were too much for the Mac, Grbac and Sly Morris to overcome. The Heads have now won 6 in a row, are red hot and right in the midst of the Elite Battle. The Heads were led by Manning, Robert Smith and even got a big 10 out of their defense. The Mac Attack suffered their 4th straight loss and are in serious danger of being eliminated. As their tragic number, barring a huge point swing is down to 1. The Pre-Game Hype:The Hammer Heads will try to keep their recently attained Elite spot by avenging their early season loss to the Mac Attack. The Mac Attack will have to beat the "Hot" heads to keep their Elite hopes alive. The Predictions/History: Spock: Mac Attack 53 Hammer Heads 52 Week 5: Mac Attack 90 Hammer Heads 72 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The Quiet Storm kept their Championship hopes alive by completing the season sweep against the M. Takers. The Storm was led by Dillon, one of the 200-yard foursome at QB. Maybe we overdid that yardage bonus thing. I did not imagine I would be giving out so many 12 (and even 15) point yardage bonuses. The Storm is keeping pace with the Revenge. The Pre-Game Hype:The Quiet Storm will try to keep their Championship hopes alive against the M. Takers. The Storm is going to need a bit of help, but they do face the Revenge once more, so anything is possible. The Takers are in the logjam in the basement trying to break free. The Predictions/History: Spock: Quiet Storm 62 M. Takers 49 Week 5: Quiet Storm 110 M. Takers 53 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |

The "Game of the Week" honors go to the match between the Black Revenge and the Black & Blue Attack. This "Black Bowl" featured 2 of the best RB performances of the week. Fred Taylor hit pay-dirt 3 times and put up 180 yards for the Attack. Mike Anderson of the Revenge put the ball in the end-zone 4 times and rolled up 251 yards. A great game by Del Greco made the Revenge require some scoring form their Sunday night double-bubble. Th e Double-Bubble answered leaving the Black & Blue down by 7 with only the CHIEFS left on Monday night. The CHIEFS came up short and the Revenge is still looking good for the Title. The Pre-Game Hype:The Black Revenge will try to sweep this year's Black Bowl put another nail in the competition's coffin. The Black & Blue finally climbed back up in the Elite after a mid-season swoon, but their low point total m ay come back to haunt them. The Predictions/History: Spock: Black Revenge 55 Black & Blue 49 Week 5: Black Revenge 48 Black & Blue 30 Spock's Predictions based on Points For, Points Against and Winning % |
